This is his 5th beer and I believe Im sobering up for a reason. Hes a bit to touchy fellie when hes drunk.

But isnt this what you wanted Frank? You thought he was hot, why are you trying to push him away?

Ugh.....Back to reality. I guess I zoned out on his rant about some friend of his.

“And I was like no Bren...Dont do that, and he was like but Im-Im wanting him...” Gerard spoke waving his beer around facing the dance floor. Hes slurring his words to much and I can barely understand a word he is saying. I think Im just about done here.

Suddenly he stopped rambling and just stared out at the hall. Watching all the people and the lights and the fancy waiters and waitresses. I guess I was looking as well. I saw Kat dancing with one of Ray's friends out there, I think his name was Joel. I also saw Bob sitting at the bar laughing and talking with other guys. Then I looked back at Gerard, who wasnt sitting anymore. He was standing by the table and I watched him take the last sip of his beer and a shot from a waiter walking by and went to the dance floor. Wow, way to leave someone.

I sighed and looked at the menu placed on the glass table then at my drink which was now empty. I soon felt someone tap my shoulder and I looked to see who it was. I have no idea who this guy was but he was very very pretty. His tan skin complementing his brown eyes, his dark fringe falling a little bit in his face, and rosy lips and a bit of scruff. Thats hot.

“Excuse me, but I just saw you here alone, and wanted to see if you want company?”

Did I really look like a loner? I guess I did since sexy hot guy came over.

“Oh um..sure.” I have no idea what to say to him. Just his presents being here, I could feel my cheeks heat up.

“So whats your name?” He asked me.

“Frank...Iero. Yours?” I lifted my head up so I can see his face better.

“Pete Wentz nice to meet you.”

Pete Wentz....hmmm...cool name thats for sure.

I heard him chuckle and looked back up with a confused look. “Thanks. I get that a lot.”

Thats when I felt the heat rush back. I said that all out loud. Way to go Frankie.

“Is it your first time coming to The Grenador?” Pete asked trying to get the conversation going.

“Actually no...My friend is the bouncer here.” I say trying to flag down a waiter.

I heard him hum an answer and he nodded his head. I looked back out to the crowded dance floor to see a lady pushing Gerard off of her. He really wants some tonight but its not working for him.

“So where you from if you dont mind me asking?” Pete asked trying to bring my attention back.

----About 2 hours later----

Im actually having a lot of fun with Pete now. He bought us some drinks. We danced, we ate some food here. Talked and then talked some more. Kat and Bob came to me saying that they were leaving for the night since Kat was a bit to drunk in the arms of Joel. I guess shes going home with him and Bob by himself. I checked the time quick and it was going on 11pm. I should probably start going soon.

I dipped my shrimp into the cocktail sauce and smiled as Pete was making this weird face.

“So what brings a Jersey boy all the way to Southern Cali? Your a bit far from home arent ya?” He said eating some calamari.

“Well, I got excepted into LACM. Its my dream school and I really like it so I went for it, while I had the opportunity even though it was on the other side of the country.” I sipped from my drink to swallow down the shrimp.

“Wow thats soo amazing. No, thats incredible. How come havent seen you around campus? I mean I go to that school as well.”

“Really? That is a good question. Im usually off campus a lot doing my field assignments, for classes.”

“Thats probably why. We should grab lunch sometime. Heres my number.” He scribbled it down quickly on a napkin and handed it to me. I blushed a bit. I looked up and I saw him chewing on a toothpick and smiling at me.

“Thanks Pete. I better get going. I have work tomorrow.” I say as Im getting up from my seat.

“Wait where do you work at?” Pete asked holding on to my wrist.

I took a moment before answering. “Googleplex. Well I better get going. Ill call you or look for you around campus at lunch. Bye”

“Bye Frank.”

That was fun. Actually it was a lot more fun then I was expecting. I thought I was going to hit off with Gerard, guess not. I guess I got something better. Pete Wentz.

As I was walking out the club and heading to the car park, I heard a moaning. As I got closer to the car park the moaning got louder. I passed an alley and I looked down the alley and say a bright head of red hair with a beer bottle. Is that Gerard? I stopped walking and called his name out.

“Gerard? Is that you?”

I saw him look up and he was forming a black eye and he had a busted lip. Great. I jogged over to him to get a better look. Yup. He got in a losing fight. I tried to remove the bottle from his grip and he let out a groan of pain. I noticed his knuckles were bleeding. I guess he put up a fight as well.

“Lets go big guy. I guess your coming with me tonight.” I lifted him up and had him slump over me for support on the walk to my car.

“Sorry...” Was all he could say. But why was he sorry? I did nothing and he did nothing to me.

“Its cool man. Im just going to clean you up.”

We finally got to my car and I unlocked it and fastened him in the back seat. I turned the music down and started the drive home. This was a very eventful night.
