Gerard's P.O.V Time lapse>>>>>>>>>> Three hours later. Home. Lounge. I brushed a stray hair behind Kat's ear as she slept on the couch, her head resting on my lap. We'd got home an hour ago. Mum, Dad, Mikey and his new girlfriend, Kristin, insisted on staying around for a while. Mum and Kristin were in the kitchen, cooking for us. Dad and Mikey were sat with us. Dad pulled him into a hug as he started to shake with anger. I sighed. "I won't let anyone or anything hurt her again. That's a promise." Kristin walked in, quietly. "Food's ready." She stated, looking at Kat. "Your mum put some out for Kat. Incase she wants it. It's roast beef, roast potatoes, carrots, cabbage, cauliflower, mash, Yorkshire puddings and onion gravy." "No way am I missing one of mum's roast dinners." Kat said as she grabbed my hand. I smiled down at her, our eyes met. "I thought you were asleep." She smiled back. "I was." She replied. "Then I smelt mum's cooking." I grinned as I helped her stand up. "Baby Way's hungry too." She stated as she led me to the kitchen. Mum smiled when she saw Kat. "Kat, sweetie." Kat dropped my hand to go pull mum into a hug. Mum smiled as she hugged back. Then they pulled apart and Kat came to sit by me. She kissed my cheek then sat down. "Baby Way's hungry." She said, smiling at mum. "And I'm always hungry for your food." Time Lapse>>>>>>>>>> 11:00 pm. Our bedroom. Kat rested her head on my shoulder and drew patterns on my bare chest. I stroked her hair. "I really missed you." She stated. "The nights were horrible without you. I tried to imagine you being there, holding me. But all I could smell was...him....on the sheets." I hugged her. "It's okay now, baby." I cooed as I rubbed her back. "Your home now. I won't let anyone or anything hurt you again. I promise. Your safe now." She got up and straddled me. "I know, Gee." She said, looking down at me, her hands on my chest. "I've just missed...us." She smirked. "I've missed our love making too." She leaned down and kissed me. Fuck. She knew exactly how to get me going. It took all my willpower to grab her arms and gently push her upright. Bad move. My thin boxers could feel the lack of underwear under her long t-shirt. I groaned. "No, baby." I told her. "You need to rest." Tears formed in her eyes as she climbed off of me and rushed to the bathroom. I heard the lock click and sighed. Damn it. I didn't want to upset her. I just didn't want to have her pop the stitches. Why didn't I handle it better? I stood up and walked to the bathroom door. Leaning my head against it, I heard her crying, quietly. "Baby, please come out." I called. The crying stopped but she didn't answer. Just sniffled. "I'm sorry, honey. I just didn't want to pop the stitches. I love you so much, baby. The last thing I want to do is hurt you." She still doesn't speak. "It's not that I don't want to, Kitty Kat. Fuck you make me want to sooo bad it fucking hurts. Just thinking about you makes me..." I groaned as I felt myself getting even harder. "It took all my willpower to pull away. But I HAD to. I don't want to ever hurt you. Please, baby. If you don't come out, I'm sleeping on the floor right here. If I can't hold you in bed, I'll have to sleep here. Close by you." I sat on the floor and leaned against the door to prove my point. The door clicked open and I fell on my back. Kat was sat leaning against the wall, looking down at her hands. Tears stained her cheeks. Her eyes were all puffy and red. She was still the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen. I stood up and picked her up, carrying her bridal style to the bed. I snuggled back up to her under the covers, stroking her hair. "I'm sorry." She whispered. "What for, baby?" "Being so stupid." I lifted her chin and looked in her eyes. "Baby, your not stupid." I said, smiling. "Your one of the smartest people I know. Don't ever call yourself stupid." She sighed, then put her head back on my shoulder. "I just...I missed...being with you." She admitted. "Being there, away from you, was hell. Even though...he...tried to make me comfortable. I didn't have you. All I wanted was to hold you, touch you, make love. But I couldn't. Every night I tried to stay awake. Scared he'd sneak in to....finish what he'd started. It felt like when I was in the d...doc..." She broke off with a loud sob. I pulled her closer to me and kissed her head as she cried. "Gerard?" Mum called from outside the bedroom door. "Is Kat okay?" "Come in, mum." I called back. The door opened to reveal Mum, Dad, Mikey and Kristin. "Kat?" Mikey said, concerned. Kat turned to look at him, then held out her arms to them all. Everyone piled on the bed, careful to not touch Kats stitches. Mum hugged behind me. Dad behind mum. Mikey hugged Kat. Kristin behind him. Everyone made sure to have a hand on Kat. After ten minutes, Kat calmed down. "Thank you, guys." She said, sleepily. "I love you all so much. I'm lucky to know you." Everyone said 'I love you too' back. Then Mikey decided to make a joke. "There was six in the bed and the little one said, 'roll over, roll over'." Everyone laughed. Then they all piled out of the room, happy Kat was ok. "I love you, Gee." Kat said, quietly.
