Two hours later.

A very worried Gerard opened the door for me and Gavin. I pulled Gerard in for a hug.
"We'll find Kat." I said as he pulled away. "I promise."
He nodded as he led us into the lounge where everyone sat around. All really worried. Don and Donna had arrived too. A man with dark hair and a suit on stood up. He extended his hand out to us.
"I'm detective McKinnon." He said after we both shook his hand.
"I'm Jessie...Jessica Beech." I said. "This is my boyfriend, Gavin Hunter."
"Pleased to meet you both." Detective McKinnon said. "I believe you knew Tim Martins?"
Gavin huffed. "Unfortunately I introduced that piece of shit to Jessie and Kat." He admitted. "He was a great guy. Then he saw Kat. He decided she was his and no one else could have her. He changed. She NEVER encouraged him. But he became overly obsessed. He'd follow her to work. She was a bar maid at a local club in Leeds in the UK. Every night he'd be there. She couldn't talk to any men because he'd go nuts. The cops had to be called a few times because of it. He'd send her flowers and gifts. Buy her a takeaway and have them deliver it. He acted like she was his property. When she met Gerard, he flipped. He went to Kat and Jessie's flat and attacked her. If I hadn't of got there..." He trailed off so I hugged him.
"Is he dangerous?" Detective McKinnon asked.
I huffed. "He attacked Kat and me." I snapped. "What do you think?"
The detective sighed. "I have to ask." He stated. "Is there anything you can think off that could help?"
I sighed as Gavin frowned in concentration. "Tim has no family here." He said. "But he does like abandoned places. He especially likes abandoned mansions because he's always wanted to live in one." He runs a hand through his red hair. "Don't bother looking for credit cards. He doesn't believe in them. You should check out stolen cars though. He'd have sneaked into America so no passport. What else..?" He paused. "He'll be working alone because he doesn't trust many people anymore. He may have stolen other things to help him in his sick quest."
I gasped out loud. "Oh god." I looked at Gerard, wide eyed. "He has medical knowledge."
Gerard looked scared.
"He won't like Kat being pregnant with someone else's baby."
He dropped down onto the couch. Donna put her arms around him.
"We WILL get to them before he hurts her." The detective stated.
Gerard looked up at him. Tears rolling down his cheeks. "Can you guarantee that?"
Detective McKinnon shook his head. "I really wish I could." He stated. "But I promise we will do our very best to find her. You have my word."
