Bands and Blood

"So, how's the competition up to now?," Leon's father asked, chewing on a spring roll. It was a night after our little 'raw meat feast' and we were having dinner with Leon's family. It was Chinese take out, quite different from the usual pizza we had back in Jersey. It tasted horrible compared to the super juicy meat. "Uh, its good. We're going for the, uh, semi-finals this Saturday," Bob answered, playing with the dim sums with the chopsticks. "Amazing! Hopefully you boys'll reach the finals, and we promise we'll take a break from work to watch you," Leon's mom smiled. "You know, you guys seem a little.... different," Tammy, Leon's elder said, squinting at Frank. "Really? What do you mean?," he asked, blushing because Frank had the BIGGEST crush on Leon's sister. "Well, you certainly are the same height. A little pale, I guess," she shrugged, chewing on a steamed broccoli. Leon snorted into his cup of milk as Frank frowned. "I think we should get some rest," I said, pushing my noodles towards Leon and got up, the others following. "G'night, boys!," Leon's mom shouted as we walked up the stairs. "Goodnight," Ray and Mikey mumbled.

"What are we gonna do?," Ray asked, pacing the room.
"Well, we have to confront them," I said, lying on the bed.
"Alright then, we'll confront them," Frank said, his hands balling into fists.
"No, not that way, idiot. We have to talk it out," Mikey said, patting Frank's back. He groaned and punched a pillow.
"Look, we'll confront those dicks tomorrow and give them a taste of their own medicine, okay? But for now, I just want to sleep," Bob said, stumbling over to his sleeping bag. We all settled into our sleeping areas and were drifting into a peaceful sleep when Mikey said, "I'm hungry."

Ah, at last, an update! My life is a mess because I'm wrapping up my first year in high school and we have to take next year's textbooks and stuff. But the good thing is, tomorrow's my last day of school and I'm free until January! Hoped ya guys liked this chapter, gonna update as much as possible!
