Bands and Blood

25th November, 1985

A month to Christmas, wohoo! It's snowing lightly in Jersey and we decided to join a Battle of Bands in New York after being invited by our friend, Leon. Maybe this would be our big break. We'll be playing on stage instead of in bars. Frankie, Mikey, Ray, Bob and I have been working hard, practicing non-stop for the competition, which is a week away. Mikey and I also shared rooms so Ray, Frank and Bob could squeeze into Mikey's room. Hopefully we'll win and get a record deal and all our dreams will come true. Surely, there'll be more experienced bands competiting there. Damn, I feel so nervous. Anyway, gottaa go, BAND TIME!!
