Gerard's P.O.V

Standing on the stage, singing, I nearly forgot everything that happened. I kept looking to see if Vee was okay. She smiled every time.
"She's sweet as battery,
Man I got nothing,
You kiss an enemies hands,
I got nothing,
we got a animal band,
and that's something,
It's not love if,
it's just fucking."
I tried to get into it. But I had to force it.
"This one's for one of the coolest guys I know.
"Does anyone have the time to bring you down,
and can I sleep all night long,
to the drums of the city rain..."

Venus P.O.V

I could see Gerard wasn't into it today. He wasn't his usual bubbly self. I looked at a stage hand. "Could I get a favour, please?" I asked the dark haired guy.
He smiled and nodded. "Sure."

Gerard's P.O.V

I finished the song and looked off stage to see Vee talking to a stage hand. He smiled and walked away. Vee looked at me and smiled. I smiled back then turned to the crowd.
I sang millions then turned to address the crowd. "How are you doing?" The crowd started laughing. I frowned. What's so funny? I felt a tap on my shoulder. Turning I saw Lola. What? "Hello Lola." I said into the mic. Lola bowed then passed me a note. She indicated to read it to the crowd. I raised the mic. "You want me to read this out?"
Lola nodded a yes, waving to the crowd.
"Well I thought this was my show, but okay." Everyone laughed. "Okay, here goes." I open the note and start reading. "Sorry I had to interrupt the show." I looked at Lola. "I should think so. This wasn't meant to happen."
Lola waved towards the note again.
"Okay, okay, keep your fur on." I said, looking back at the note, earning more laughter. "But Gerard isn't performing as well as he should because he's on his....I am not reading this." I looked wide eyed at Lola.
She passed me a second note.
I read it out. "If you don't read it, I go on strike. Here. Now." I looked back at Lola who was sat in the centre of the stage. I looked over at Vee. She was grinning. "You did this?" I said into the mic as I grinned at Vee.
She pretended to bow.
"No fair." I muttered. The crowd laughed as I turned round to face them. I lifted the mic to speak again. "Before tonight's show, someone upset me." I started. "As a result I've not been on top form and I apologise. But my lovely wife has kindly decided to snap me out of it. So I will NOT read the rest of the note. But it's time to liven this up."
The rest of the show went great. Well after Lola vacated centre stage.

Venus P.O.V

I smiled as Gerard walked towards me.
"What was that?" He asked, grinning. He stopped infront of me and leaned down, kissing me. "Thank you, baby. I needed that."
