To The End

Frank wiped his hands down the side of his jeans. His nerves were acting up so his palms became sweaty, his legs begun to shake, and he was hoping Gerard wouldn't notice. He looked at Gerard who was focused on his footsteps. Frank opened his mouth but shut it quickly. He wasn't sure what to say. He finally thought of something, but Gerard said, "I haven't seen you around school. What are your parents making you study?"
Frank looked at him surprisingly, "Um...well, psychology."
"That's what I haven't seen you. You study in the west wing of the school. My parents are making me study anatomy. "
After that, there was a moment of silence. Frank finally asked, "How did you know my parents are making me study the course?"
Gerard smiled as he kicked a pebble, "All parents are strict, Frank. Hell, my parents only let me use the computer for an hour a day."
"Lucky. I get to use it for half an hour." I smiled a bit.
Gerard laughed, which lightened Frank's heart. Frank was slowly getting comfortable with Gerard. He smiled lightly as Gerard said, "You're cool, I like you. You're a bit quiet, but I'm sure I can open you up and try new things." He added, "Want to know something, Frank?"
"What?"
"I'm not like the average student. My brother, my friend and me love to do what makes us happy. We're not a gang, but we like to do things that people don't normally do at Duke Christian High. We call ourselves Killjoys."
Frank looked at him, "Killjoys? That's...interesting...are you sure you're not a gang?"
Gerard smiled, "I think we're going to have to show you instead." Gerard swung his arm over Frank's shoulders. Frank wasn't sure about the Killjoys, but he knew damn well that he felt comfortable with Gerard.
