Drinking By The Mausoleum Door

Mysty's P.O.V

"....Will you marry me?" I ask Gerard.
His mouth drops open. So he's definitely shocked and surprised. That's good. But he's not saying anything. I get really nervous. He's going to say no. That's why he's quiet. I'm suddenly aware of all the eye's on me. My heart beats really fast. He still doesn't say anything. I look at Oli, then Frank, then around the whole theatre. Everyone is whispering. I look back at Gerard. He hasn't moved. What the fuck have I done? I can't take it anymore. I stand up and bolt backstage. I lock myself in my dressing room. Sitting on the couch I pull my knees up to my chest and rest my arms on them, burying my face in my arms as I cry like I've never cried before. I've ruined everything. We were happy. But I had to spoil it.
There's a knock on the door but I ignore it.

Gerard's P.O.V

I run after Mysty. But she locks the dressing room door before I can get to her. I ask Oli to keep everyone happy till I get back. Then I listen at the door. I hear crying. I knock but get no answer.
"Mysty?" I call out. "Baby. Please open the door." The crying quietens down slightly. "I know you didn't get the reaction you were expecting. I'm a idiot. I was just really surprised. I froze. But I love you, sweetheart. More than you know. And I want to answer you, baby. A little later than I should have. But I love you, Martina Parker. And I would love nothing more than to marry you. So my answer is yes. Yes, Mysty. I will marry you."
I listen quietly. The crying has stopped completely now. There's a little shuffling. Then the lock clicks and the door opens. Mysty stands staring at me. Her eyes are all puffy and her face is stained with tears.
"Say that again." She said.
I smile as I take her hand's in mine. "I said Yes. I will marry you."
She screeches, then jumps into my arms. We kiss as I lift her and swing her aro
