Hold On Tight and Don't Look Back

Gerard’s P.O.V

Frank must be crazy if he thinks I’m not going to tell anyone; as soon as I walked him to his class I headed straight for the principles office I knocked on the door couple times until I heard Mr. Tarly’s voice

“Come in” he called; I opened the door and closed it behind me. Looking around he was sitting at his desk with the computer on.

“Hello Gerard what can I do for you?” he smiled.

“I would like to report an incident that happened; A student with a weapon” I explained; At that line he sat up.

“Go on” he said folding his hands on his desk

“Bryce Nathers, he has a knife” I started

“It’s always Bryce” he muttered

“and he used it on a student” He looked to me with deep curiosity in his eyes.
“He used it on Frank Iero during lunch”

“Frank Iero? Your boyfriend?” Just hearing the word boyfriend made my heart flutter...Not exactly the best time though; I nodded.

“You’re saying he used it on him, how?” Mr. Tarly asked

“His right shoulder” I ended

“You said during lunch time; that was over and hour and a half ago; Why didn't someone report it sooner?”

“He didn't want me to” I said; Mr Tarly nodded.

“Thank you Gerard, I’ll call them both in and see for myself; Here is a late pass for the classroom” he said pulling out a small paper. I thanked him and headed out the door.

Within a few minutes Frank’s name was called over the intercom and I know some students gave a few glances considering he was my boyfriend. Then a couple more minutes Bryce’s name was called and I got even more glances considering everyone knew Frank and Bryce were fighting. I tried not to blame myself for Frank getting hurt because the stupid teacher held the class back to hand out homework that she should have given out sooner.

Once the class bell rang I was approached with a big hug from Frank; I’m guessing there is good news. Yep, HE’S EXPELLED; I knew Frank was entirely happy about that and so was I. We went through our class day until we met in the parking lot waiting for MIkey; When he saw Frank’s cut you could tell that he was just as concerned as I was but was happy also that Bryce was gone. We headed home and the first thing we saw upon entering was my mother standing here waiting; she turned to Frank.

“Frank I got a call today about an indecent that happened with another student; They said he used a weapon on you?” she spoke, Mikey passed by her and left into the kitchen while I turned to Frank who took a gulp. He nodded.

“Ya, it’s okay though he’s expelled and you don’t have to worry about anything” he explained

“Can you show me the cut” she asked

He sighed and showed her; she walked over grabbing his arm examining it before looking back to him.

"I want you to get the healing cream from the upstairs restroom, the bandage wrap and the peroxide" She said sternly, he nodded and complied. I stood there in awkward silence while she waited for Frank; after a short moment he came back down withe the item sin his hand.

"Sit" my mother commanded

"Donna you really don't have to do this" he said

"Hush, I'm going to. Which student was it who did this?" she asked

"Bryce Nathers" Frank replied sitting on the couch, she looked to me

"Bryce? The one you got into a fight with last year?" she questioned, I nodded

"I always knew that kid was trouble" she muttered, Frank hissed as he started wiping the cut with the peroxide; man that stuff stings like a bitch. About halfway through the door opened

"I'm home early" My dad said stepping through the door; We all gave a hey back
"What's going on?" he asked pointing to the mini nurse station my mom had.

"Nothing important" Frank commented

"Nothing important?" she scoffed, she began explaining about the phone call and then Frank had to explain his side; at the end we were all happy that Bryce was expelled. After about ten minutes Frank was all patched up and we went upstairs to do our homework; Even though it was a wild day it all ended good.
