But little did I know...

I'd tell you about a long and uncomfortable silence, but nah. In fact, Mikey arrived like five seconds later, with a big bowl full of popcorn, leaving a popcorn path behind him.

"Gee! You arrived! Where were you? This is Frank, a new friend of mine. But come in, don't just stand in there...", Mikey said, happily, and sat down and put the bowl on the center table.

Mikey's bro slowly came in. He approached us.

"Hi Frank, I'm Gerard, Mikey's brother", he said, smiling.
I managed to utter a decent response with all my might, I wanted to sound normal, polite, not excited, not dazzled, not nothing.
"Nice to meet you, Gerard", I replied, as normally as I could.

Gerard brought a chair and sat down with us.
"What movie are you watching?", he asked.
"No idea, Frank's still trying to decide", Mikey replied.
Both of them looked at me for like five seconds, I glanced at them, and I continued checking out the dvds.

I felt my face was a little hot. I always feel that when I blush. I thought about going to the nearest mirror, but nah. I'm too lazy, and I'm afraid it'll be too obvious. I know maybe it's not, but I'm such a paranoid, I know it's stupid but that's just the way I am. My mind was racing with random thoughts when Gerard suddenly asked:

"Oh, so you like Taking Back Sunday?"

I looked at him, then at my Taking Back Sunday backpack, then I nodded.

Sorry for not updating, I had to travel and then yesterday I was writing this but my mind went blank and I left this chapter unfinished. I just finished it, what do you think is going to happen next?
