Frank's POV

Mr. Way sighed heavily in relief. "You're okay," he exclaimed, a small smile creeping on his face.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine. But why are you here?" I asked. His smile dropped and his face went blank.

"Well, um. Frank I think we should talk," he started. That's when I remembered what had happened between us earlier that day and my stomach turned.
"I really don't think that this is the right thing for either of us to do. I mean, I'm a teacher, you're a student. This is illegal Frank," his words came out quiet and slow. Every word he spoke was like someone stomping on my chest and clenching my heart. I felt tears form in my eyes. And it hurt the most just because, I knew he was right. There was a fire burning in my chest and it was just growing the more Mr. Way explained his opinion. He paused and wiped the tears from my eyes.

"Look Frank I really really like you. When I was carrying you down those halls, and your arms were wrapped around me, I felt complete. You have been on my mind all day. I can't concentrate. I don't know what to do with myself anymore. Frankie, I feel like I'm breaking from the inside out." he sighed.

"Mr. Wa-"

"Gerard."

"Huh?"

"Call me Gerard."

Hm, Gerard. What a handsome name, yet it felt so foreign as if rolled off my tongue.
"Okay, Gerard I feel the same way about you. Even though we've only known each other for a short time I feel like I've known you for eternity. When we kissed I felt like nothing could touch us, and when you hugged me, my world was perfect. But I also have no clue what to do with all of these emotions" I sighed.
We sat in silence for a few moments and Gerard inched closer and closer to my bed until he was standing just inches away from me.
"Frank, when do you turn 18?" He asked, breaking the silence and staring at me, hopefully.

"Next month," I said.
He starred at me with his big hazel eyes. It looked as if he was trying to gather his courage for something. He took a shaky breath and grabbed my hand gently.

"Frank, would you go out with me? W-Will you be my boyfriend?" He asked. The question took my breath away. My heart fluttered and my face went pink. He looked at me with hope in his eyes.

"D-do you really think we can make it work?" I shuddered.

"I think so. There's only a month until you're an adult. If not, I'd be the one that'd get in trouble and that's a risk I'm willing to take," he explained creeping even closer.

I felt my heart flutter as he slowly closed the gap between us. He leaned down and whispered in my ear, "so what do ya say?"
I nodded and he kissed me hard. I flushed bright red as he wrapped me in a tight embrace.
Everything felt perfect. Like not even Ricky could wreck this. Boy, was I wrong.
