It was done. Over. Gone. All them years of hard work, over just like that. I couldn't believe it had ended like that... I always expected something bigger, grander more over the top than just posting on the website... As we all starred at the screen I felt tears welling up in my eyes and I knew I couldn't cry in front of the guys, what would they think of me? No. I had to be strong. When I looked round at Ray, I saw that his face was blank... I couldn't read it, which wasn't anything new to me as I knew Ray could hide his feelings well but this didn't seem right. Then I looked at Mikey. My brother. My reason for keeping going with the band, he was my inspiration. As I looked at him I could see the sorrow in his eyes, he's lip was trembling and I knew he was on the brink of tears like me. I looked away as I felt my eyes start to sting again. And finally, Frank. He was sat beside me, on my left, his leg was just brushing mine. I could feel him shaking and when I looked at his face I was tears silently sliding down his pale cheeks, gliding past his lip ring. For some reason my eyes lingered on his lips without me noticing. When I did I tore them away. Frank had always been the worst at holding back his emotions. He would get angry, confused and cry, and sometimes... It would be worse... But no.. Frank hadn't done that in a long time... I'm sure of it. I tore my attention back to the present. I looked into my lap and my eyes wondered to the left and I saw Franks hand fidgeting in his lap. I could see the ink on his knuckles that spelt "Halloween" on his knuckles. Without intentionally meaning to my hand inched near to his, until I placed it gently upon his knee. He jumped slightly from feeling my touch but I stroked his leg slightly and half smiled at him. He returned a watery smile before shifting his position so he could rest his head on my shoulder, and then he went back to staring at the screen. He made me jump when he talked, "You don't think this is to sudden? That its not the right time? I feel so bad for the fans... Gee, I think we should delete it, or say its an April fool, it's not the right time..."
I looked at him. He had called me "Gee"... I loved it when he said that, it sounded so sweet and innocent when it come from him... No Gerard, focus. I was about to reply before Mikey beat me to it, "I don't think it's ever going to be the 'right time' Frankie, what's done is done, we all just need to wait for the shock to settle in..."
I smiled at Frank, before giving him a quick squeeze on his leg. Would I put my arm around him? He looks like he needs a hug but I don't want to get weird looks of the others. Just then I heard a shout behind me, "DAADDYY!!!"
I turned round and my beautiful little girl run up to me and started kissing all over my face. "Daddy, daddy, daddy! Yay! I missed you daddy!", she said before attacking me with kisses again.
"Bandit Lee Way, what have I said about going in your fathers office when he's not -" Lyn-Z stopped in the door and before I knew it she had dropped the bags of shopping she was holding and had run up to engulf me and Bandit in one of her heartwarming hugs.
"Oh Gee, we've both missed you so much we wondered when you would be back!", she squealed, "we missed all of you, it's so nice to see you all..." He faced dropped when she looked round the room at the guys faces. I've got to tell her what's happened. "My Chem is done", I was surprised how my voice shook and tried to calm myself before continuing, " we decided it was putting to much stress on us all and all our family's so we've just posted on the site that its the end..." I couldn't hold it back. I let on solitary tear slip from my eye. Lyn-Z walked forward again and wiped it away, before placing a soft kiss on my lips, "It's ok babe, it'll be ok, there's no need to cry"
I nodded and look around the group. I smiled weakly and them all, before turning to Bandit, "So, how's my little bumblebee been doing", I said before standing up and swinging her around, her feet nearly hitting Mikey round the side of the head in the tiny office. She giggled and squeaked until I put her down. She kissed me on the cheek before running around the room giggling and singing, "I'm a little bumblebee and I go buzz buzz and sting people's bottoms", and as she sung the last part she smacked Ray on the behind and ran away before he could react. Everyone laughed at her innocence before retreating back to the shocked silence. Lyn-Z broke it by saying, "so do you boys want to stay for dinner? I was planning on doing a BBQ considering its such nice weather out?"
There was a mummer of "yes please" and "thank you"'s around the room before we all go up and walked outside into the garden when Bandit was playing in the sandpit.

Lyn-Z made the most wonderful burgers I thought as I chewed intently. I looked round at frank and couldn't help but smirk at him face as he bit into his Veggie-Burger Lyn-Z had made especially. He never seemed to enjoy his vegetarian food and it baffled me why he even ate it. But I'd always left him to his own devices.
After everyone had finished I offered to take the plates into the kitchen to wash while Lyn-Z watched Bandit in the garden. I was aimlessly humming and loading the dishwasher when I heard a door shut behind me.
"Your forgot my one, you Idiot", Frank said waving his plate in front of my face. I could help but grin at him.
"I can't believe we did that you know...", I knew what he meant and I felt my stomach twist as I looked at how sad he was.
"Yeah I know what you mean, but it needed to be done", I said but my voice didn't sound convincing, even to myself. He nodded. I walked over and wrapped my arms around him, as I felt him start to shake. He looked up at me, his beautiful brown eyes filled with tears. I loved his eyes. I always had. Looking into them while we was performing. The time he kissed me in London, I looked into his eyes after and felt completely relaxed. I let my gaze drift down to his lips, I could just see his lip ring, and his pale pink lips shone in the light. They looked so moist and innocent and... No Gerard, what are you thinking? This is your best friend. You in the middle of your kitchen, not on stage, you can't even consider this! I pushed him away and carried on with the dishes. I looked round and the room was empty, I could see Frank thought the window, he had just walked back into the garden and had been attacked by Bandit squirting him with her water pistol. I sighed and finished what I was doing.

When everyone had left, Frank leaving last I settled down to watch Tv with Lyn-Z after putting bandit to bed. I had 3 empty beer cans by my side, and another open one in my hand. I'd already had 4 at the BBQ and haven't stopped since.
After a while I felt Lyn-Z fall asleep on my arm and carried her up to be where I stripped off my t-shirt and jeans leaving me in my underwear. I slipped under the covers and snuggled close to Lyn-Z, and was just drafting off when my phone started to vibrate. I looked at the numbers on my clock; 12:24pm. Who would be calling at this time? I picked up my phone and looked at the called ID: Frank Iero (Frankie). Why on earth was he calling at this time?
