The Killjoys Vs The World

Gerard’s POV

I dunno how long I’ve been awake for now… Oh yeah since 12:04AM Lord knows what time it is now. That’s when I hear footsteps coming down the stairs and the light suddenly turns on.
“Chesus man you scared the living shit outta me!!” Mikey exclaimed
“Sorry… Didn’t think I was that scary” I replied laughing at his scared expression
“Haha. How long have you been awake?” Mikey asked making coffee, it was winter at the moment meaning it was darker in the mornings and Mikey for one was not a morning person trust me.
“Oh since I dunno twelvish” I said with a cheesy smile.
“Another nightmare? “He sighed when I nodded in agreement “You should go shower”
“Great idea be down in 10” I shouted already making my way up the narrow staircase. It took me literally 8 minutes to get a shower and put my clothes of the day on which consisted of a Misfits tee, black skinnies, a dark blue hoodie (not navy) and my scruffy old converse. I raced back down the stairs and burst into the kitchen suddenly feeling energetic.
“Your two minutes early and look who got out of the right side of the bed this morning” Mikey laughed as I pranced around looking for my jacket
“BYEEEEEE”
“Shut up you’ll wake mum up you ass!” Mikey shout whispered back frowning.

****TIME LAPSE****
(Lunch time at school)
Phew I had safely got into the cafeteria, claimed my lunch and grabbed a table… on my own yet again but hey it’s better than getting shit from people right? Then I felt a hand on my shoulder I thought it was some kind of bully but I realised it was only Mikey.
“You scared me” I frowned
“Karma’s a bitch” Mikey laughed
“Oh haha so funny” I pouted trying to hold back my laughter but it was soon let out along with Mikey’s. He claimed the seat next to mine and explained that his friends were off school ‘ill’.
Thank god school had ended I couldn’t wait to get home I walked home with Mikey but as our house came into view it was not the view we were expecting…
