Dee's P.O.V

One week later.

Gerard is in the UK again. He didn't want to go without me. But I finally persuaded him to go. He's in Glasgow right now. I'm glad really. Not because I don't want him around. Because believe me, I miss him like crazy. But he needs to keep his fans happy. I told him if he didn't go, I would sleep at the Killjoys Hotel until he saw sense. He got the message. I promised I'd wouldn't be on my own. So here I am, sat on the couch, with Mikey. Waiting for Gerard's call.
"Thank you for staying, Mikey." I say smiling at him.
He smiles back."No problem."
"You know Gerard's going to grill you about me?"
Mikey laughs."I know. He worries about you. Can't say I blame him. After everything that's happened to you. I'd worry to. I do worry."
I kiss his cheek. "Your sweet."
He grins. "Your my sister. It's my job to worry bout you."
I smile. "You don't have to worry about me. I'm fine."
The phone rang so I picked it up and looked at the screen. Not Gerard. Who is it? I frown as I answer.
Me: "Hello?"
Caller: "Hello. This is dci Jack Ward. May I confirm I am talking to a Mrs Dee Way, please?"
Me: "Yes. That's me. What's this about?"
DCI Ward: "I would like you to come down to the station asap to identify some bodies."
I froze. Identify some BODIES?
Me: "W...who..?"
DCI Ward: "I'm sorry, marm. I can't discuss it over the phone."
Me: "W...when?"
DCI Ward: "Now if possible. I mean if it's convenient."
Me: "O...okay. I'll b...be there in bout a...an hour."
DCI Ward: "Thank you. Ask for me at the desk. See you then. Bye."
He put the phone down and I just stared at Mikey. He frowned, concern all over his face.
"Dee?" He said. "What's wrong?" The phone rang again. I looked at the screen. Gerard. Shit I pass the phone to Mikey.
"Just tell him I had to pop out. JJ's driving me. I have to go." I say standing up. "Please, Mikey. I will call him back in a couple of hours." I head out before he can stop me. I hear him talking to Gerard.

An hour and ten minutes later.

I freeze as I see the bodies. Oh god. No. I scream and drop to the floor, my head in my hands. This can't be real. It can't be. Not them. Oh god. Oh god. Why? Why? Why them?
"Mrs Way?" DCI Ward said. "I'm sorry. I know it's hard. But we need you to confirm the names."
He waits patiently for me to calm down. Then helps me up and leads me out of the room.

Two hours later.

I open my front door and walk over to the couch. I sit down next to Mikey. I feel like I'm in a trance. Mikey's talking but I can't hear him. He hugs me but I don't move. I stay like that for another ten minutes before a skype call comes in. The laptop is infront of me. Mikey answers it. I can vaguely hear Gerards voice. But I can't hear what he's saying. Mikey turns my head to face him. He shakes me softly.
"Dee?" He says. "What's wrong? What's happened?"
I shake myself out of it as reality kicks in. I shake my head, wide eyed. "They're dead."
"Who is, baby?" Gerard asks. I turn to the monitor, tears finally falling. I look at Gerard on the screen.
"Your the one that I need, Gee." I say quietly. "Please? I need you."
"Of course baby." He says. "I'll get a earlier flight. But baby, who died, sweetheart?"
I shake my head and put my hands over my ears. Mikey puts a hand on my shoulder.
"Dee?" He says.
I freeze again and look at Gerard.
