Falling For You

Chapter 1: School Is Hell

Gerard POV

"Mr. Way, you are failing science class!" Mr. Parker said.

As you can see, I'm fucking failing science class, great. Just fucking great! Mr. Parker kept talking as I looked outside. It had started to rain. Hard. I should of believe the weather man.

"Mr. Way! Are you listening to me?" Mr. Parker said.

"No."

"Well, I said you're getting some help from a student. I'm pairing you up with my intelligent student," Mr. Parker kept babbling.

"Just get to the point and tell me who it is," I said putting my hands on my hips.

"I'm pairing you up with Blaze Loya," Mr. Parker said.

Blaze Loya. She's my first best friend. We've been friends since kindergarten. She has these pretty cafe brown eyes that sometimes reminded me of coffee.

I've been having a crush on her since, I don't know, seventh grade.

The best part is that she has a wonderful personality and great fucking taste in music.

Let me describe her.

She has pretty black hair. Short but long. Whenever I look into her eyes, I get lost in them. She's about 5'4. Blaze has tan-ish skin. Well, tan but it hasn't seen sunlight.

Blaze hates the sun. She hisses at it and curses it. Sometimes I call her a Vampire because come on, the girl hisses and curses at the motherfucking sun!

She usually wears dark colored clothing and a lot of bracelets, which I find pretty strange.

I once asked her why she had on so many bracelets. Blaze stuttered when she said it was just fashion. She then said she had to leave back home and ran off.

I was suspicious that day and to this day, too.

The only reason why Mr. Parker paired me up with Blaze is because she is fucking smart! Like, she's the only one in the whole class that has an A in science. Plus, she's an honor roll student.

"Got that Mr. Way?" Mr. Parker said.

"Got it. Can I leave now?"

"Yes."

I headed out to the door and into the hall. I started heading to my locker.

As I pass, jocks kept tripping me and shoving me.

Fuck you! I thought in my head.

I heard some girls talking shit.

"The emo girl, Blaze. I heard she cuts her writs." Said a blonde bitch named Kelly.

"I heard she was Satanic, too," said a brunette bitch named Jessica.

"The poor little emo is going to die young. Oh wait, who cares about that dyke!" Said Kelly.

"Bitch," I mumble to myself.

As I pass down to the hall, then made a right turn, I saw the group of bitches. They call themselves the 'Hot A's'. Really bitch.

"Blaze is a fat whore." Said the blonde bitch all dressed in pink named Ashley.

"She needs to loose some weight. I mean, she probably weights around five hundred pound!" Said another blond bitch named Amanda.

"I heard she slits her wrists. I hope she dies soon." Said a brunette bitch name Adriana.

I sigh. Blaze and I usually deal with this shit. This high school is full of bitches, whores, jock, and fucking assholes.

I go to my locker and get my books for class.

"Hey faggot!" Said Chad. Shit...

I ignore them and put my science book in my locker.

"You don't ingore me faggot! Now you pay," Chad said and he and his buddies shove me into the locker and lock me in.

"Bye faggot!" I heard him say and laughed.

I hit the locker with my fist. Maybe someone can help me.

No one came to rescued me for an hour. It wasn't until I heard footsteps then I started to hit the locker again.

"Who's locked up?" I heard Blaze said.

"It's Gerard!" I said.

"Geetard? I gosh I've been looking everywhere for you!" Blaze said getting close to my locker.

"Why are you out of class?" I asked her.

"I had to go pee," She said and then start unlocking my lock. Blaze is the only person that knows my combination other than me and Mikey.

Blaze opened the door and I fell.

"Ouch!" Blaze and I said.

I got up and helped Blaze up.

The bell ranged. I missed Spanish class.

"Well, thank God it's the end of the day at least." Blaze said.

"Yeah, well I'll meet you outside of the field." I said.

"Fine. See you Gerard." Blaze said and left to her locker.

I pack my things and head to the field.

Once there, I sat down on a bench. I see the Hot A's and the cheerleaders are on the other side of the field.

I wait a couple of more minutes before Blaze shows up.

"Hey!"

"Hey," I said to her.

"So, Mr. Parker told me." Blaze said sitting next to me.

"Yeah. Science is hard!" I said.

She laughs. God do I love her laugh.

"Yeah it is." She said.

"What! You have A's in science." I said smiling back at her.

"That doesn't mean I don't struggle to get an A." She said looking out at the field.

"So, what days is your ass going to help me?" I said.

"Everyday you Sassy Diva." Blaze said looking at me.

"Lets get out of this hellhole- I mean school." I said sarcastically.

She laughs.

"Lets go. I have to show you something anyways!" Blaze said and grabs my hand and she runs off with me.

I swear, just by her holding my hand, I can feel a blush creeping up.

"Close your eyes." Blaze said.

She was close to my face. I close my eyes.

"What is it, Blaze," I said.

"Hold up. You'll shit bricks in a couple of seconds," Blaze said.

"Okay. Open your eyes now," Blaze said.

I open my eyes. I see Blaze smiling and two tickets in her hands.

Wait! No way, it can't be.

"You got the tickets for Warped Tour!?" I said to her.

"Hell yeah I did!"

"And bricks have been shit," I said making her laugh.

"Happy early birthday, Gerard." Blaze said and I pull her for a hug.

I rest my head on her shoulder. Blaze nose touches my neck. Blaze smells of candies and cherries.

She is literally the best friend ever. Considering it's March and she bought the tickets as a birthday present for me.

"Okay. Now that I told you, let's start science homework!" Blaze said putting the tickets on her desk.

I groan. I really didn't want to do homework.

"Fine, but after you give me a snack. I'll wait till your mom comes home to have dinner." I said and sat on the bed.

"Mom isn't coming home until six. She told me she'll leave pizza money." Blaze said.

"Hey, where's your brother?" I said.

"Basketball practice," Blaze said getting out her science book.

"How about your sister?"

"Drama club."

Blaze ordered the pizza and it came thirty minutes later. We ate and did homework.

I noticed Blaze pointed things with her right hand instead of her left. That was weird, wan't she left handed?

"Hey Blaze, I thought you said you're left handed?" I asked her.

"I am. Why do you say that," Blaze said crossing her arms.

"Well, I noticed you started pointing things with your right hand now," I said.

She looked at her empty wall. Her parents didn't like her putting up posters.

We stayed in silence for a moment.

"Blaze?"

"Yeah," Blaze said while jerking her head. She must've been in her La La Land.

"What were you thinking?" I asked.

"Nothing."

I glared at her. Something was up with her. I just knew it. I notice a lot of things with Blaze.

Blaze has a habbit of rubbing her left wrist when she's upset.

"You're upset about something." I said to her.

"What. How are you so sure," Blaze said looking at my eyes.

Instead of seeing happieness, all I saw was sorrow. Why is she sad.

"Blaze, you're upset about something. I know you. When you're upset about something, you start to rub your left wrist." I said.

"Fine! You caught me! I am upset." Blaze said pulling her knees to her chest.

"What's wrong?" I said putting my right arm around her. She rests her head on my shoulder.

"I-I..." she sighs. "I like someone but I know they'll never like me back." Blaze said looking at the blue wall.

I knew what she was feeling. I love her, but I know she'll never like me back. I mean really, I'm an ugly piece of shit.

"Who is it?" I asked her.

"Not going to tell you," she said.

"Is it a guy or a girl?" I asked her, knowing she's Bisexual.

"Guy," Blaze said.

We stayed in silence for a moment. We had finished our homework, ate, and now we're tired.

"Want me to sing to you?" I asked quietly.

"Yes, please," Blaze said quietly.

I start singing Act The Part by Cherri Bomb. I know it's her favorite band so why not sing a song from them.

"I'm a little selfish with a lot to give

I'm a broken bone, I'm a losing bid
I know you want me in, in my place

I'm tremendous bliss, I'm an unknown voice
Make you feel less alone, but I'm not your toy
I know you want me out, out of your face

I can smile for the camera
I can feed you my heart
I can lie laughin' at ya
I can act my part
And it's not the way I wanted it to be
But no one ever asked me
So I smile for the camera
And I act my part
Whoa

Under my skin written in my blood
There's a secret I keep, it's not your love
I know you don't know me at all
I'm a little bit bruised livin in the lies
But you hunger for more and I can paint my disguise
I'll be your fight, be your fall

I can smile for the camera
I can feed you my heart
I can lie laughin' at ya
I can act my part
And it's not the way I wanted it to be
But no one ever asked me
So I smile for the camera
And I act my part
Whoa

And you're everything I hide away
Buried deep, another face
All the secrets you will never know
Yeah

I can smile for the camera
I can feed you my heart
I can lie laughin' at ya
I can act my part
And it's not the way I wanted it to be
But no one ever asked me
So I smile for the camera
And I act my part
Whoa"

By the time I finish the song, Blaze has fallen asleep in my arms. Soon, sleep drags me in too.
