Netflix and Sunday

Frank’s POV
I don’t really know why I dared undressing. I mean, what if some light caught my scars and he saw? He would leave me for sure. Luckily I haven’t cut since the start of the week when Gerard began staying over and it was dark enough so that we couldn’t really see all that well. I actually reckon I need to get Gerard some glasses, because sometimes when I point things out in the distance he doesn’t see them. Anyways.

We walked back to my house guided only by the moonlight. It was quite romantic really; the pavements were illuminated by a soft, glowing light and Gerard had his arm draped around my shoulders the entire time. It only took about twenty-five minutes, which I was glad for since it was rather dark once we got further into the streets and I really didn’t want to be mugged.

Now we are back at home in our pajamas, snuggling in my bed together and watching horror movies on Netflix. It’s not even that late really, but it’s dark which shrouds us in a comfortable silence. I don’t even know the name of the movie, only that it is a crappy one. I don’t mind though and I even wince and hide my face in Gee’s shoulder when the jump scares pop up.

I think I eventually fall asleep, because I wake up to light streaming through the window. A heavy weight across my stomach prevents me from sitting up, which I realise is Gerard’s arm. I smile to myself and roll over so I can snuggle back into Gerard and the duvet. He murmurs lightly.
“Stop moving babe,” he instructs groggily, tucking his fingers under my side. I only giggle and bring our bodies closer together. I grasp his arm and pull it across me like a blanket.
“I’m colddddd!” I moan. He chuckles and grasps the covers, pulling them over my frame.
“Better?” he asks. I mumble a yes with my face on his warm chest. I inhale the lingering scent of sea salt, coffee and cigarettes. I fold myself up so that our bodies fit together like puzzle pieces, because that is what we are. We are puzzle pieces, slotting together to complete our picture. Gerard rests his chin on the top of my head just the way I love it, and we fall back asleep.

Mum wakes us up at eleven by gently knocking on the door. Gerard notices first, awakening with a startled gasp. I’ve been dozing on and off for about half an hour so a delicate touch to the arm is all it takes to properly wake me. Mum pops her head around the corner of my door, alerting us that we should probably be going over to Gerard’s soon.

I glance over at Gerard, checking he is alright. His eyes are wide and round but nevertheless he smiles politely and says thank you to Mum. The thing about Gerard is no matter what kind of smile he is wearing on those thin dusky pink lips, it is always a genuine one. After liking him for practically five years I've learnt quite a bit about him and this is one of those things.

I reluctantly push the sheets down to my calves.
“I just wanna stay in bed with you forever,” I protest, then swing my legs over the side of the bed.
Gerard says, “I agree with you. The outside world sucks.”
He shuffles over and sits on my edge of the bed. I hold out my hands to him, lean back, and pull him to his feet. He kisses my cheek sweetly when he is standing, then sighs and moves to get changed. I organise some clothes to wear, choosing jeans (as always) and a hoodie. Gerard changes in my bathroom, swapping back to the same clothes he arrived in just a couple short days ago. I can’t believe in just a few days Gerard Way has gone out with me and become my boyfriend. Plus we slept in the same bed and kissed.

Mum interrupts me from my thoughts, asking if we are ready to go. Gerard comes out of the bathroom and begins to lace up his shoes. Once he is done I give her the nod and we walk down to the garage in mainly silence.

The garage door rattles loudly as it shudders open and Mum starts the car. It grumbles to life, making almost as much noise as the door. I open the car door for Gerard. He thanks me, ducks his head, and slides across the seats to leave room for me. I clamber into the car and sit myself lightly on the only remaining seat in the back. Since the car is small our thighs are pressed together. I place my hand briefly over Gerard’s, which was drawing patterns over his legs. I pat his knee comfortingly, and then return my hand to my lap.

Almost immediately Gerard snatches my hand back into his, holding onto me like a lifeline. I would giggle at his neediness, but this isn’t really the time. Mum finishes whatever she was doing outside the car and slips into the driver’s seat. She reverses out of the driveway and begins the short drive to Gerard’s house. I direct because Gerard has his jaw clamped firmly shut. He keeps holding my hand the whole way in the silence; the only noise the sound of
Gerard’s strained puffs of air and the road under the tires.

We pull up outside Gerard’s house and Mum turns to us in the backseat.
“Gerard, honey, I need you to try and be as calm and rational as you can, okay? We can convince them, it’ll be fine.” Gerard nods, trying to relax.
“Okay, let’s go in.”
I take a deep breath, let go of Gerard's hand, and step out onto the pavement. It’s now or never I guess.

If your having problems with smut scenes, you could always get a co author for just those parts. The reader gets what they want and you don't have to feel awkward. You did really good though.xxx
