Gerard was walking along side the street after getting off the grey hound bus. He knew there would be people looking for him so he needed to change his identity fast. Looking up he saw a man stand outside a bar smoking a cigarette. He was tall with dark hair and pale skin. He wasn’t Gerard’s twin but they looked enough a like that if someone took a quick
glance at his I.D. they wouldn’t know the difference

Gerard walked over to the man and smiled slightly.
“Hey man can I bum a cigarette?” He asked making the man nod toss him his pack and lighter.

Gerard lit one up and tossed them back. “Thanks dude.”

The man gave a slight smile in return and looked down at the ground. Gerard silently pulled
the knife out of his pocket and looked back at the man. “Sir?”

The man looked back up and he stabbed him in the stomach. Blood trickled down Gerard’s as he pushed the knife in deeper. He placed his other hand over the man’s mouth to muffle the screams and continued to stab him over and over until he stopped breathing and moving.

Gerard dragged the body back around the building and searched his pockets for a wallet. He found his I.D. and saw his name was Aiden Harper. He shrugged and figured he could pull off that. He quickly shoved the wallet in his back pocket and lifted the body up into the dumpster.

After a while he made his way to a motel and got a room using the money in Aiden’s wallet.

He went to his room and pulled a box of bleach and red hair color out of a bag he had picked up from a store before he went to the hotel. He needed to change his appearance.

Jaydee had been in her room for two days lying in bed. Her mind wouldn’t stop racing. All she could think about was Gerard showing up on her doorstep and how she would react. It made her sick at the thought. The last time Jaydee saw Gerard was at the court trial.

Hearing the judge sentence him to death killed her inside.

A small tap at the door made her sit up and she smiled when she saw little eyes peek through the crack. Peyton tottered inside and reached her arms up to her mommy. Jaydee smiled and picked up Peyton putting her on the bed next to her.

“Hi sweetie.” Jaydee smiled and twirled one of her dark pigtails.

“ ‘I Mamma” She giggled and stumbled over her words. She was still having issues talking but she could say something’s.

“You wanna watch elmo?”

“Yeah!” She bounced in her seat and smiled.

Jaydee smiled and turned Sesame Street on for Peyton. Her little face lit up as she sat in the middle of the big bed watching the glowing screen.

Jaydee sat there watching with her for a few minutes when she heard a knock at the door. She sighed and dragged her feet out into the living room to answer the door.

“Where’s my niece!?” Frank squealed and jumped all excited “Today’s Sesame Street day!”

“She started without you. Sorry bro.” Jaydee laughed as her brother ran back into the bed room and started tickling Peyton making her laugh and squeal.

Mikey who was standing behind Frank the whole time just laughed and kissed Jaydee on the lips.

“How are you doing this fine morning?” He asked a cute smiled.

“I’m fine. I just have a lot on my mind I guess.” She sighed and went into the kitchen and sat at the table.

“Thinking about Gerard?”

“It’s hard for me to not.” Jaydee sighed.

“I promise everything will be fine. That man won’t come near you.” Mikey growled.
Peyton came running out giggling being chased by Frank. She looked out the living room window and smiled.

“Elmo!” She yelled pointing outside.

“Yeah sweetie Elmos on TV. Frank can you take her back to watch TV while me and Mikey talk?” Jaydee said not looking up.

“Sure sis. Come on you cute little monster.” Frank picked her up and put her on her shoulders.

Peyton smiled and waved out the window.

“Bye-Bye Elmo.”

Gerard smiled and waved back. His newly red hair was glowing in the sun.

“I’ll see you soon baby girl. Daddy’s coming home.” He smirked and got back in the car (he stole) and drove away.
