Don't assume

As we drove towards my house it was around six o’clock. Mrs. Iero had made
us dinner and now we were going to my place so she could catch up with my mom and so id have a chance to talk to frank without any interruption, even though now i couldn’t beat him up.

“this one right here with the front door open.” i told mrs. iero and she parked in front of the house.

We climbed out of the car and walked up to the door. I opened it and yelled in “Mom we have some guests.”

“gerard? where were you! you didn't answer your phone and-“ she stopped when she saw who was at our door.
“linda?! Oh gosh it’s been ages!” she smiled hugging her.

“i know! i didn’t know Gerard and Frank went to the same school.” linda said.

“i didn’t either! gerard why didn’t you tell me you knew frank?”

“i didn’t know you and Mrs. Iero knew each other.” i admitted.

“im going to go down to the basement with frank to hang out while you guys talk.”

“okay.” she smiled. “see if you can get your brother to come upstairs he’s been hiding all night and won’t let me come down.”

“i’ll check on him don’t worry.”

i then forcefully dragged frank downstairs by the wrist while tried to pull away.

“mom i said go away-“

“it’s not your mother and why are hiding down here instead of in your own damn room?” i asked mikey as i locked the door to the basement so frank couldn’t leave.

“because asshole it’s more fun down here and i can’t let mom see my face after what that fuck face did or she’ll have a heart attack.”

“gee thank for the compliment you fucking whore.” frank said causing mikey to jump and look away from the tv screen where halloween 6 was playing.

“what is he doing here.” mikey asked harshly backing away.

“i went to his house to teach him a lesson and his mom knows ours so they’e upstairs talking.”

“that’s where you were. you had me worried, i texted ash and she said you weren’t with her.”

“i wasn’t she’s sick.”

“i doubt that’d stop you.” frank mumbled.

i turned and slammed frank against the wall causing him to gasp as the wind got knocked out of him.

“listen here you piece of shit. My girlfriend has nothing to do with you and neither does my brother-“

“stop defending him!” frank screamed biting into my warm so i’d let go.

“he’s the one whose fault it is!”

“i didn’t do anything!” mikey yelled.

“yes! you! fucking! did!”

“then tell me what the hell i did to cause you to be such an ass and beat me up, because i sure as hell don’t know!” mikey screamed.

“you slept with bob! we’d been talking for four month’s and i finally told him i loved him. He told me he loved me back and one day later i walk in on him fucking you, you little whore!”

i slapped frank as hard as could when he called mikey a whore.

“he is not a whore, and i don’t ever want you making accusations about mikey ever again you little bastard.”

“he slept with my boyfriend at a party. That sounds like a whore to me.”

from behind me i could hear mikey’s heavy berthing and i could tell he was trying not to cry.

“i didn’t know.” he whispered

“oh of course you didn’t know, it was only the fact that you didn’t fucking care as long as you got laid!”

“i didn’t know!” mikey suddenly screamed, running off into my bathroom and locking the door.

“you are a piece of shit.” i stammered trying to keep my anger under control.
“you literally know nothing about my family or personal life and i don’t want it brought up again in school.

“why cause you won’t be there to stop him from getting what he deserves?”

“whatever kind of person you think bob was i hope you know he’s a piece of shit for what he did. He took mikey’s virginity frank. I don’t know what you consider being a whore is, but i don’t think of losing your virginity by being taken advantage of when your drunk is anything close to that.”
