Gerard's P.O.V

I slowly woke up and then I realized I forgot to set the alarm, I quickly looked at the clock 6:15 PM, I let out a sigh of relief that we weren't late for work. I turned over and Frank was still sleeping, He was laying on his side with one arm over his head and the other near his stomach. I smiled at him recalling the earlier events...That was quite a celebration we had. I still had to tell Mikey and Natalie that he was all healed, They had been asking me forever so they could come by. I guess it was time to get up so we could eat and get ready, I decided to give him a quick wake up. Quietly I stood up on the bed, me looking down I stared at the sleeping Frank, Not for long. I jumped up and landed on the space next to him "Earthquake!" I yelled. As soon as I hit the bed Frank woke with a gasp and sat up.

Still bouncing up and down "Time to wake up" He groaned and plopped himself back on the bed covering himself with the blanket "No" he said. I scooted closer to him and bounced up and down again "Yes, Wake up" Frank still didn't come out. Fine I guess I'll have to use another strategy. I swung my leg over Frank's waist and sat on top of him. He pulled the blanket off and looked up to me. "What are you doing?" He asked in a tired voice "You wouldn't wake up,so i'm doing this" He looked at me for a moment "It's going to take more then that to wake me up"He said with a smile while closing his eyes. Oh so that's how he wants to play. I leaned over and kissed him on the chest, then his stomach "Gee" he moaned, I went to his thigh. I could feel him getting harder.

So I sat up and jumped off the bed near the door Frank lays wide awake staring at me with his jaw dropped. "You are not going to do that again?" I nodded my head and as soon as I saw frank jump up I bolted out the door laughing "Oh no you don't Way" I hear him yell. I run into the living room, I stop not knowing where to go next when a laughing Frank tackles me and I fall onto the couch. "Frank stop" I say giggling as he lays on top of me. He just smiles at me and lightly kisses my cheek. "You couldn't have just said wake up?"..."I did like five times" I respond poking him in the chest, He kisses my lips and sits up scooting to the empty cushion "Well i'm up, What time is it?"..."It's like 6:20 now" he nods and gets up, walking back towards the restroom.

I'm sitting down watching some T.V. When Frank comes back out and sits next to me, cuddling close he leans his head on my shoulder. "So, How did you like the celebration?" He asks, I look down at him and he's grinning ear to ear "I loved it very much, we should celebrate more" I reply with a wink. Frank giggles and sighs "Did you just want to order pizza?" "That sounds fine, I don't think either of us wants to cook" He shakes his head and stands up to get the phone. After he gives the order he comes and sits back down "It will be here in about 30 minutes" I nod and smile. After a few moments Frank groans "Great, Now I have to get dressed" He stood up again and I laughed...wait, I have to get dressed anyways, dang it.

It was finally time for work and Frank and me were both dressed in our uniforms. Slight memories came back of his uniform covered in blood and dirt, I quickly brushed it off not wanting to think about those events. Considering it all started with me causing this. Me and my rage to attack the kid led to this. I mean say what you want behind our backs or in your mind, I don't care. But once you apparently have the need to say it to my face, That's when shit gets real. We both stared in the mirror fixing our hair "You sure you want to go back?" I asked for the millionth time "Yes Gerard, I'll be fine" ..."That's what we said last time" I muttered, he sighed and pulled me in for a hug. I threw my hands near his waist and he wrapped his arms around my neck. Frank looked at me with his hazel eyes "It's going to be just fine" I nodded and rested my forehead on his "I love you" whispering into the quiet room. "I love you too" he said back and I gave a smile. "You ready?" he nodded and we pulled apart.

We arrived at the coffee shop around 7:45 PM, it didn't look like any costumers were here. I parked in the farthest spot away from the garbage bin, again not wanting to remember those moments. Frank didn't ask questions which I was glad because I don't think I could answer them to confidently. We headed into the coffee shop and as soon as the door opened I could here Marla yell Franks name "Frank" she yelled running from behind the counter "I missed you" "I missed you too Marla" he replied laughing, "Is your rib all healed?" She asked "Yes, much better" He looked to me and I shrugged my shoulders. I didn't even know how they got the full story. "Great to see you back, Now i'm going to get packed up. I don't think there will be many customers, I barely got any" We both smiled and nodded while she headed to get her stuff.

Frank's P.O.V

I turned to Gerard "I guess it's time to talk to Mr. Castry, You want to go in with me or stay out here?"..."I'll just stay out here, is that okay?" I nodded and took a deep breath heading towards his office. I knocked three times till I heard a "Come in" I turned to Gee who was staring at me, he nodded and I slowly opened the door. Why was I so nervous to face the boss. I worked here for three months before all of this and I've been gone one month. I quickly shut the door behind me and boss looked up. When he saw me he stood from his chair "Frank" he called, he walked over and gave me a hug, well then. I think that's the first time I hugged my boss. "So good to have you back"..."I'm glad to be back". He gestures towards the seats as he sits back behind his desk. I quickly sit down waiting for his next sentence.

"Okay Frank, I only heard what the hospital told me but I need to her it from you" I nodded and cleared my throat, I began to explain my story from the beginning with the encounter at the restaurant. Then explained what happened in the parking lot, he listened intently writing down notes. After I was finished he stared at me for a moment "Did you ever file a police report?" "No, I didn't think it was worth the trouble. It's been a month, I'm healed and I want to forget it happened". He nodded in understanding and stood up again, I did the same thing "Like I said, Just great to have you back. Now even with no customers, it's time to get on your shift" I smiled and walked towards the door, Well that wasn't to hard.

I headed out the office and Gerard was just finishing up serving a gut in a business suit. As soon as the man left he turned to me "How did it go?" "Not bad, he wanted my story and that was about it" Gee smiled and nodded. We spent the next hours doing nothing, it was already 12:35 AM and a few people came in and then quickly left so that was the only disturbance we had through the night. "Mikey and Natalie want to come by when you were all better" Gerard blurted out "Oh, well they can come by tomorrow if their not busy" He nodded and grinned at me again. I love work but it's actually better when there's more people here; without them it just gets mildly boring. After a couple minutes Gee put some music on his phone and we jammed out to Iron Maiden.

Finally a day with no trouble, with no pain, no one was crying. It was a really good day but right now I am super tired again. while in the car I stared out the window looking out at the moon. I was thinking about meeting Gerard's parents which hopefully that would be soon, I started feeling nervous. What if they don't like me? I now know what Gee felt when he met my parents. "What's wrong?" he asked, he needs to stop reading my mind. "Just wondering if you were going to call your mom tomorrow?" "Actually yes I was and then I could discuss it with Mikey if he comes by, Which i'm sure he will" "Okay, Just feeling nervous about meeting her" He doesn't say anything, Is that good or bad?

We're finally home and I slowly walk into the bedroom stripping myself of my clothes. Gerard does the same thing and goes over by my nightstand and picks up the almost empty bottle of painkillers "We won't be needing these anymore" He just sets them back down and crawls into bed obviously as tired as I am. I go in after him scooting closer, taking in his body heat. I look up to him and he is already staring at me, "Goodnight babe" I say and he kisses me on the forehead "Goodnight" he whispers back and I bury my face in his chest. Well today was not bad and hopefully the days leading on will be just the same.
