Gerard’s P.O.V

*Flashback*
I knew Frank was going to be pissed after my ‘punishment’ but you know, I told him not to get out of bed. After I walked out I could hear his moans from the other room obviously finishing the job. I just smirked. After a while I went back in and Frank was watching T.V. As soon as he saw me he crossed his arms and gave me a death glare, “What?” I asked sarcastically “You know what, Pulling that little stunt you did” I just smiled at him “It’s not funny” I walked over to him and shuffled off my clothes, Laying down next to him I tried to pull him closer but he scooted away “Come here baby” “No, I am mad at you” I sighed and checked my phone it read 12:55 PM, also there was a text from Mikey.

M: Hey bro, Mom called, she said she wants to meet up next month. She wants a date, place, time, all that stuff. Just wondering if you were going to bring Frank…If you do decide to meet up, I can bring Alicia and we can have lunch or something.
G: Ya that sounds great But lets wait until Frank's rib is better, if you don't mind. I will call her in the next couple weeks and ask about it, Thanks for telling me.
M: No problem and ya wait till Frank is better, if you don't mom will start asking all these questions. See you soon.

It's been forever since I've seen my mom, The last time I saw her was a couple months ago she came to visit, I didn't have a job then and I was lucky enough to still have this place. I bet she would be proud of me for now getting a job, a boyfriend, and a hopefully permanent home. I sighed and put the phone down "What's wrong?" Frank asked "Nothing, My mom wants to meet up sometime next month"..."Oh, do you not want to?" referring to my sigh "No I do, I just haven't seen her in forever, I just haven't told her about you yet" "Does she know you're gay?" "Yes, she's known forever and she supports it fully, I'm just nervous that's all" He nods his head and leans back on the bed still staring at me.

"Are you still mad" I say in a baby voice, he smiles a little "I guess not, But don't do that again"..."Well you should listen to me next time" He gives me another playful glare and leans over placing his head on my chest "I can't believe it's already been a month" he whispers. I run my hand through his hair "I know, What did you get me?" I say with a laugh "Oh i'm sorry my boyfriend wouldn't let me out of bed the past two weeks so I couldn't get him anything". I smile at him "You being here is enough for me" He smiles and starts to get up. "Where do you think you're going" I grab his wrist and pull him back down, He starts giggling "I have to go to the restroom" I give him a kiss on the nose and he grins "Fine, I'll let you go" "Thank You" he whispers and starts to get up again. I love him so much.

*Present time*

It was finally time to go back to the hospital and get one last X-Ray. it was only 10:30 but Frank was wide awake very excited to get conformation. He was certain his rib was healed because he spent the last two days without any painkillers. It was the 5th week after his injury and I could say that I was the most happiest. Of course I'm going to worry about Frank every second of every day but at least I know he won't be hurting his rib. The best of all is he could go back to work; I'm guessing Mr. Castry told Marla what happened to Frank because every day when I went in for my shift she would give me a hug. Well she could now give Frank a hug when he gets back. I decided I was going to tell Mikey and Natalie that Frank's rib was healed after we get a conformation, Just in case it isn't fully yet.

Both of us fully dressed made our way into the car, Before I headed off I turned to Frank " You ready?" He had a huge grin on his face and vigorously nodded, I laughed and drove down the road. We passed by the park that me and Frank had for out one month anniversary. It was delightful, We sat down on a blanket just watching the clouds and talked about music and comics, all the nonsense we would usually talk about. After we got home...We kind of took a shower. I gave him a little treat and he gave me one back...Nothing unusual. Heading down the road there was no traffic, well it was Wednesday at 10:30 in the morning so I would be surprised if there was. In no less then ten minutes we arrived at the hospital wing where they do minor stuff.

We walked in the building hand in hand. We actually got no sideways glances or double takes so that made me more comfortable, Also I don't think anything could spoil this day. It wasn't a huge day but it meant a lot just to know that my Frankie is all healed. Frank headed up to the desk, The lady, about early 50's looked up and smiled "Hello, What can I help you with?" "Yes I have an appointment. Under the name Iero scheduled for 11:00 AM. She types something into her computer "Yes, Here it is. The doctor will be with you shortly. Go ahead and take a seat." "Thank you" she nodded and we walked to the seating area. It was really empty, Just a table with magazines and about twelve chairs. Me and Frank sat next to each other, I grabbed his hand and he looked to me and smiled "So you think it's healed?" I asked "I am positive, I've felt no pain for 2 days and I didn't take any painkillers today also.

I just smiled at him, After a few moments of eye contact we hear a door open "Frank Iero" He quickly stands up and walks towards him. I follow straight after. Here we go. The doctor leads us to a small room with the usual seat for patients and then the doctor supplies, "Like always we need to do the procedure, Check his blood pressure, Heart beat, all of that" Frank nods and sits on the seat. I sit on the only available chair in the corner for guests. After he takes the tests and marks them down, he cleans up "So no pain in your ribs anymore" He asks Frank "Nope none at all" "That's good, But we still need to do one more thing" He hands Frank a blue gown for the X-Ray thing. Frank gladly takes it and the doctor leaves to give him privacy. He quickly stripped off his clothes wanting to get this done. "Slow down" I say to him "Never" he replies laughing. I just smile and shake my head.

"Okay we will get your X-ray back to you in ten minutes" The doctor said walking out of the room. Frank sat down tapping his leg "Frank, calm down, I'm pretty sure it's healed"..."I know but just hearing a professional say it to me makes me feel better" I just nodded, we sat there in silence, it wasn't awkward but just a relaxing silence. The doctor came in and had a file in his hand. "Well Frank, it looks like your 100% healed" Frank jumped up and down in excitement. The doctor placed two X-Ray things on the machine and turned on the switch. One picture was of a very broken rib and the other was a not broken rib. well you could guess what they are. After the doctor cleared that it was okay to do exercises and stuff, ya like we did that anyway; we were free to leave. Frank left the building with a huge grin plastered on his face "Did you want to go anywhere?" "Just home, Because that means I get to go to work now" "Okay"

We drove home with Iron Maiden playing on a CD I had made a while back, Heading through the door Frank literally ran around the living room "Look I'm home and I don't have to go in bed" I smiled at him when he stopped all of a sudden. "What's wrong?" He walked over to me with a smile "Actually I can get a reason to get into bed" He ran his hands under my shirt and up my chest, I gave a slight gasp "How about we do a proper celebration" he whispered leaning towards my ear. I was frozen for a moment, then in a quick reflex I picked Frank up and headed towards the bedroom smiling the whole way.
