Gives You Hell

Take off all your preppy clothes

"How long are you going to be?" Gerard was on the phone to Lindsey, who was still having the run around for her boss.
"Honey, I don't know. I'm sorry" she said, her voice sounding hushed.
"Okay," Gerard sighed.
"I'll see you later, baby" she said before hanging up quickly. Gerard threw his phone on his bed and dragged his hands down his face. It was almost six, and Gerard was starting to worry about going to Frank's on his own. He needed Lindsey there to break the tension between the two men. He sighed again and pulled his blue sweater vest off, then started to undo the buttons of his shirt. He threw his clothes over his bed and wandered into the bathroom, turning the shower onto it's hottest setting.
"Are you trying to avoid me? Is that it?" Gerard said to himself, as if he was speaking to Lindsey. He climbed under the shower and immediately felt like screaming from the burning sensation tingling through his body. He took a shaky breath in and squeezed his eyes shut, forcing himself to stay under the boiling hot water.
"Is this what you wanted?!" he shouted and slammed his hands against the white, tiled wall.
After ten minutes of forcing himself through the pain, Gerard turned the water off and stepped out the shower, wrapping a towel round his waist. He wandered back into the bedroom and carefully sat down on his bed, he pushed his head in his hands.
It was around seven when Gerard finally knocked on the front door. He waited, almost nervously, for Frank to open it. The door swung open and Gerard was (almost) face to face with Frank. The smaller boy's emerald eyes shifted up to look into Gerard's.
"Hey" a big smile spread across Frank's face, but then suddenly dropped as he frowned slightly.
"Where's Lindsey?" Frank asked in almost a concerned way.
"Uh, still a work" Gerard coughed awkwardly. Frank nodded and moved to let Gerard inside.
"So- um, do you wanna drink?" Frank asked while walking to the kitchen, Gerard followed him through the messy corridor.
"Yeah, please" he said as they walked into the kitchen. It was really messy. Empty beer cans everywhere, dirty dishes pilled up by the sink.
"Don't you ever clean up?" Gerard half joked, Frank laughed and shook his head, pulling the fridge open.
"What do ya want, then?" Gerard remembered back to when he was younger, when he and Lindsey had first started dating. She had asked him the same question and Gerard had answered with a cheesy 'you, please', which had made Lindsey laugh.
"Gerard?" Frank's voice pulled Gerard out his thoughts.
"Oh, uh, what do you have?" Gerard stared at the shorter boy, admiring the fact he had made the effort to put a tie on. But it was hanging loosely around his neck and his shirt wasn't tucked into his black skinnies. The collar of his shirt was sticking up a bit at the back, which frustrated Gerard.
"We have...Beer, and more beer and some beer" Frank laughed, closing the fridge door and holding a beer can towards Gerard. The older man took the can and opened it, laughing lightly.
"I haven't had a beer since I was a teenager" Gerard laughed again.
"What, really?" Frank was surprised at Gerard's statement.
"Yeah," Gerard said bluntly, leaning against the kitchen counter. He took a sip of beer and closed his eyes slightly, realising how much he had missed the taste.
"Gerard, why have you changed?" Frank giggled and looked at Gerard's outfit. He had a white shirt on, with a red tie and a red jumper over the top. Though, he still had the cream slacks on. Even though Frank would never admit it, he rather liked the way Gerard dressed. It seemed nerdy and cute to him.
"These are my evening clothes, Frank," Gerard chuckled, sounding extremely pretentious.
"Aw, but I liked what you had on earlier" Frank teased, even though he was telling the truth.
"That's not evening wear, Frankie" Gerard laughed again, but stopped when he realised he had called Frank, Frankie. He noticed a slight blush crossing Frank's cheeks and he felt one hitting his face too.
"Uh- anyway.. tell me something, Gerard?" Frank leant against the counter opposite Gerard, taking a big gulp of beer. Gerard nodded, telling Frank to carry on.
"How did you and Lindsey meet, then?" Frank raised an eyebrow and noticed Gerard tense up a bit.
"Oh, uh, it's not a very interesting story, really.." Gerard said, desperately trying to avoid the question.
"Tell me anyway" Frank smirked.
"Um okay.." Gerard started.
"Um, well, it was a few years ago now, I was twenty one and was supposed to be getting married... my friends took me to a, uh, 'bar' " Gerard put air quotes around the word bar.
"She was um, working there that evening, and yeah.." Gerard frowned, not wanting to go any further.
"It was a strip club, wasn't it?" Frank smirked and watched Gerard's face turn bright red, almost the same colour as his jumper.
"Uh, yeah" he answered quietly.
"So.. basically, you ran off with a stripper?" Frank laughed, realising why Gerard was so against telling him.
"Yeah, I guess so" Gerard stared at Frank, feeling rather angry that he was laughing.
"Hey, she's a good looking girl, I don't blame ya" Frank finally stopped laughing and looked back at Gerard.
"Now you tell me something, Frank" Gerard shifted on the spot and placed the now empty can on the side next to him.
"Why are you so... So.." Gerard frowning, not knowing what word to use.
"So..?" Frank smirked at Gerard, making the older man roll his eyes.
"Disruptive?" Gerard smirked back at Frank, who just simply shrugged.
"No, no. There must be a reason" Gerard pushed himself off the counter and stepped towards Frank.
"So tell me why" Gerard was now leaning close to Frank, making the younger boy feel intimidated.
"Uh- I honestly just don't know" truth be told, Frank was never a disruptive child, he was the best behaved they could get. He was only disruptive when he saw Gerard move in next door, almost two years ago now, and the only reason for that was because he was desperate for Gerard's attention.
"I gotta say, Frank, when I first moved here, I knew you would be a noisy neighbour, but I never expected it to be so...extreme" Gerard laughed lightly and leant even closer to Frank. The smaller boy shifted backwards, feeling his back hit the fridge.
"I don't know if anyone's ever told you this, Frank.." Gerard's hand suddenly ran up Frank's chest, wrapping around the tie hanging lazily.
"You're an awfully beautiful person, I must admit" Gerard purred, tugging on the tie, forcing Frank to shuffle forwards, closer to Gerard's body.
"G-Gerard?" Frank was starting to grow confused, completely and utterly confused with Gerard's actions.
"I hate admitting things, it's something I guess i'm terrified of doing. But I must admit another thing, Frank..." Gerard moved so his lips were close to touching Frank's neck. His breath hitting Frank's skin, sending a wave of goose bumps across his skin.
"For a while now, I've been dying to do this for a long time.." Gerard's lips brushed against the skin of Frank's neck.
"Gera-" Frank suddenly choked on his words and all oxygen left his lungs when he felt Gerard's lips pressing against his neck. He felt Gerard lightly bite down on the sensitive skin, forcing Frank to fall silent but let out a quiet whimper. Gerard pressed his body against Frank's, basically pinning Frank to the fridge.
"Gosh, Frankie, I just.. adore your tattoos" Gerard admitted. He had surprised himself with what he was doing now. For almost two years now, Gerard had resisted this feeling he had for Frank. But now that they were alone, he couldn't hold back anymore. He suddenly felt Frank's hands pushing against his chest, forcing him away.
"You said Lindsey's still at work, yeah?" Frank asked, an awful voice screaming at him as he started to realise something.
"Yeah?" Gerard said quietly, looking down at the floor.
"What does she do, exactly?" Frank raised an eyebrow at the older man.
"She's a PA.." Gerard frowned, confused about why Frank was suddenly interested in Lindsey.
"For who?" Frank laughed, realising how innocent Gerard was.
"I don't know, some business women" he answered, shrugging. Frank threw his head back, almost hitting it against the fridge, laughing.
"What's so funny?" Gerard stepped away from Frank and folded his arms against his chest.
"I have to say, she's either a really good liar or you're just really dumb" Frank carried on laughing.
"What are you talking about?" Gerard narrowed his eyes at Frank, feeling incredibly angry now.
"Lindsey isn't a PA, I mean she might be, but not in a business way, if you get what I mean," Frank giggled before carrying on.
"Brendon applied for a job at the same place she works at, it's just a call centre. She just answers phones, definitely not a personal assistant for the boss, seeing as it's a man, not a women" Frank smirked at Gerard, watching his face turn into a horrified expression.
"W-What?" Gerard carried on frowning at Frank, feeling too surprised to say anything else.
"Well, Gerard, it seems like little Lindsey isn't behaving how a real woman should.." Gerard's face looked confused.
"Gerard. She's cheating on you" Frank said bluntly, leaning back against the fridge. Gerard's face dropped any kind of expression at all, he stared at Frank blankly. Not knowing what to say or do or even think.
"I know" Gerard answered, bluntly.
