Blood

My alarm clocked screamed that it was time to wake up. I sat up groggily in bed, and turned it off. I threw on a pair of jeans and white Ronnie Radke shirt. Then, memories flooded my mind. Why was there so much pain? I felt a painful sensation in my neck. I cringed in pain. What the actual hell? Why was this happening.
I put on my makeup slowly. Every time I tried to remember what happened, pain shot through my neck. There was something connected to it. Gerard.
What wasn't he telling me? Why wasn't he telling me? He told me he'd tell me when I needed to know. Was that not now?
*at school*
I shyly sat next to Gerard. He smiled, and looked at my neck. I tried to remember again, and the pain become unbearable. He wrapped his arms around me protectively.
"Why are you acting this way with me? Why can't I know why I'm in pain?" I asked suddenly. He stopped holding me. Time seemed to be frozen. Everyone was still except him and me. He grabbed my hand, and led me outside.
"Lacey, this might sound crazy, but I'm a vampire. And you're my mate. You were supposed to be for the past few hundred years. But you kept on dying and re-incarnating. I have to keep those bad vampires from killing you. That's why Frank is here, too. He and Vanessa are mates, also. Vanessa has been protecting you for a while." he explained. My mouth fell open. Suddenly, years of memories flooded my mind.
Gerard and I had quite an intricate past. We've loved each other for all these years. But I kept dying. Dying before eighteen,when I could become a vampire. No wonder I was attracted to him immediately.
I looked into his hazel eyes. He wore a pained expression that told me he'd been waiting for me long enough. His hand caressed my face, and he bent down to kiss me. I kissed him back, feeling all of our past emotions for each other.
"Sweetie, we have to unfreeze time soon" he murmered in my ear. I nodded, and gave him one last kiss.
*after school*
I felt arms around me as I walked out of my last class. Some popular girls shot me envious looks. I knew it had to be Gerard. He kissed me on the cheek, and walked with me.
I was suprised when he got onto the bus with me. He froze time, so we got to be first on. I watched to pretty freshmen girls, one's contorted in pain as an elbow dug into her side. I moved the person's elbow for her. When Gerard unfroze time, she cried out, then looked utterly confused. I laughed.
*that night*
I laid in bed, waiting for Gerard to come. I left my window unlocked for him.
I began to drift off when I heard my window open. He came inside, and softly got under the covers. He began stroking my hair. "Shh..." he whispered. I fell asleep.
