Blood
Everything you ever took from me
Lacey Marie. I seriously told him my full name was Lacey Marie. I don't really like my name at all. Most people wouldn't mind because they like that person. I guess I don't really mind it.nI mean, I like him a lot. But I hate my name, a lot.
After English, I had chemistry with Mrs. Porter. She's nice, but I hate chemistry. I pretty much spent the entire period drawing Gerard. Nobody noticed, though. So nobody could tell him that I drew him. I drew him and I actually. I was laying next to him. I felt weird about it, so I quickly tore it up before anyone saw it. I had to find a new crush. I looked around the room, and spotted my old crush, Jared. He and I have some… history.
By history, I mean he and I were best friends for six years. Then, sophomore year, I told him I liked him. He didn't feel the same way, so we stopped hanging out. I still felt the same way until I found Gerard.
He saw me looking at him, and smiled. I smiled back, then looked down to start drawing again. I decided I was going to draw Austin Carlile. It probably was going to be way too much fun. I always draw band members when I'm bored enough. And, I was bored enough. I ended up not finishing Austin by the end of class. I was super excited to show the picture to Vanessa, because she takes them and hangs them on her wall. She has Vic, Kellin, Ronnie, Andy, Oli, and Jaime. Having Austin would mske her day.
As I searched for my band-obsessed friend, I ran into Gerard. I didn't really want to talk to him. But he wanted to talk to me.
"Hey Lacey Marie." he called out. Fuck, he can me whatever he wants. He makes my name sound special. He began to walk towards me, his smile making me blush. "Whatcha doing?"
"I'm looking for my friend." I replied, He looked behind his shoulder.
"Is she walking over here right now?" he asked. I looked behind Gerard to see Vanessa holding hands with some guy. Judging by the fact that Inhad never seen him before, I assumed he was Frank. "Looks like Frank's got a new girlfriend." I sighed. It was so like Vanessa to see a guy, date him, then dump him. She never stayed with anyone longer than three months. I kinda felt bad for Frank. He looked kind of cute and really nice.
"Yeah. That's my friend, Vanessa." I said. He didn't reply. Instead, he watched the two approach us.
"Hey Lacey. I see you made a new friend." Vanessa commented as she went to stand next to me. I nodded, and smoothed my shirt. "As you can see, Frank and I are dating now." I gave her a weird look, silently wishing she'd shut up about it.
"Lacey and I were engaging in a conversation about you." Gerard tried. The two nodded, but weren't very interested.
"Umm… are we going to go to lunch?" I asked awkwardly. We all shrugged, and started walking to the cafeteria. I wanted to sit next to Gerard, so I made it look like I was letting Vanessa sit next to Frank. Gerard didn't seem to mind sitting next to me, anyways.
It felt good to laugh and joke with him and Frank. I thought he wasn't nice, but I guess he is.
*after school*
When schol was over, I caught the bus, and went home. When they got to my stop, I was the only who got off, as usual. I started to walk home. About five minutes into it, someone grabbed me frlom behind. They put their hands over my mouth, and something sharp pierced my neck. They moved their hands moved enough, and I screamed out in pain.
Suddenly, something hissed and attacked the person. I was feeling too light-headed to look when he threw me on the ground. But my world became suddenly very dark. I collapsed on the ground.
*Gerard's POV*
I threw the dead vampire's body to the ground, and lit a match. I threw it on him, and watched his body burn. I ran to Lacey, who was unconcious. Her mop of long, cherry red hair was sosked in crimson blood.
I picked her up bridal style, and carried her to Frank's house.
"What happened?" Frank asked when he saw Lacey's body. I showed him the bite, and explained the attack. "Damnit. Do you want me to heal her?"
"Hell yeah I do. She's almost awake. Do it quickly." I replied with a sense of urgency. Frank healed her as fast as possible. He reduced the bite marks to mere scars, saying it was the best he could do. I left, trying to find a reason why I would've been holding her. I decided to go to thelast place she was.
She woke up, confused. She realized I was carrying her, and she began to look very uncomfortable.
"What happened?" she asked.
"I promise I will explain everything to you when you need to know it." I replied. She frowned, but nodded like she understood. She realized I was still holding her, and pointed to the ground. I let her down. "Goodbye, Lacey."
"Wait." she said. She brought her face to mine. I knew what was going to happen next. She kissed me, softly and slowly. "Now goodbye Gerard." She left without an explanation.
Notes
Sorry if this sucked. I figured that it needed some action, cuz the first few chapters were drama free. Subscribe, comment, whatever. If you have any ideas, feel free to share.
