Heart-Shaped Box (Frerard)

Gerard stumbled out of the doorway, wiping his eyes, which were clouded with sleep and looked back into the room. It was still his boyfriend and his brother sitting on the floor with that flush of a nice make out session fresh on their faces. Gerard's heart clenched as he looked away, tears rolling down his face in silent sobs. He backed away from the room, leaving Frank and Mikey to do whatever they pleased. Because, fuck him, right? He was worthless anyway. Just a boy with a lot of troubles. Too many.
I told you this would happen if you trusted him again.
"Frank" told him, reappearing with no warning.
"But I love him." Gerard mumbled, wiping his eyes and sniffled unpleasantly.
He doesn't love you, though, Gee. I do.
"B-But-"
No, Gee, he doesn't love you. He's using you to get to your brother.
Gerard cried harder as he lifted the beer bottle to his lips. He tipped it back, allowing the liquid to burn a trail down his throat. He loved it.
You know I'm right.
"You are." Gerard whimpered, sucking in the warm liquid from his beer. The alcohol gave Gerard a comfort Frank would never give him. Nobody would ever love this mess of a person Gerard was. If no one could love him, how could he love himself? His only comfort was himself and the alcohol was like no other.
The alcohol was his friend.
He found his liquid cure.
