Heart-Shaped Box (Frerard)

"Hm Gee?" Frank hummed gently, resting his head on said man's shoulder.
"Yeah, Frankie?" Gerard whispered gently, running his hands through Frank's hair. It was slightly longer than before and it needed to be redyed but that was okay. It was still the Frank he loved.
"We should go on a date." Frank smiled brightly.
"You're such a dork." Gerard giggled, but but his lips, letting his doubt wash over him in waves. "But I...can't...." He breathed, closing his eyes and slumping back on the couch.
"Why not?" Frank asked, not able to hold back the sadness lacing his voice. "Is something wrong?" He asked, worry overpowering his sadness as he felt Gerard quaking.
Gerard let out a little whimper, pushing Frank away slightly. "I just...can't. Please...respect that."
"But if I can help-"
"You can't! Just leave me alone!" Gerard snapped, detaching himself from Frank, standing up only to fall to his knees.
"Gerard!" Frank gasped as be watched his boyfriend curl up on himself, his shouldersshaking as he cried and clutched his chest.
"Guys I'm ordering pizza- what the hell?!" Mikey instantly dropped to his knees by his brother,pulling him into his lap.
"What happened?" Mikey asked as he rocked Gerard,whispering in his ear.
"I d-don't know! I asked him to go on a date with me and he said he couldn't and ststarted freaking out!" Frank cried in one big breath.
"It's probably just a panic attack, shh, I got you, Gee." Mikey's voice dropped back to a comforting mumble. As he watched the scene, Frank's heart ached. He'd never be able to help Gerard. He's only making it worse. He wasn't aware of the warm tears spilling down his face as he watched the brothers. Why couldn't he be that person for Gerard? He understood that it was Mikey's job, but fuck, it was his too! The point of a boyfriend was so that your brother could quit babying you but no. Because Frank himself was a baby and therefore, he could not help another human being.
Frank would never be good enough for Gerard.

Another sucky chapter whoo. I'm sorry for the long wait in between chapters, but I totally fucked up my hand skateboarding and now it hurts really bad and I'm trying to write but I can barely walk let alone type ahaha I'll update soon <3
