"Mikey, so what's it like having Mr. Way as a brother?" Frank asked excitedly, leaving against the table. They were sitting across from each other in the lunchroom. Frank had gone into fits if happiness. "Uh, cool, I guess. He wakes me up every morning and makes me coffee sometimes. He, uh, usually lets me shower first. And, uh, helps me when ever I ask. I tell him everything and he tells me everything, too." "Awww." Frank sighed, looking dreamy. Mikey knew Frank had a crush on Gerard and it was a bit weird. But it was even worse that they had these types of conversations even when Mikey was dating Gerard. And yeah, it's weird and illegal but who cares? They both felt the same way and neither was forcing the other into anything. It was a perfect relationship. "Well, If you tell each other everything," Frank smiled like he just had a brilliant plan. "Is Mr. Way straight?" "Um, um, I-I-" Mikey turned red. "You can tell me! I'm your best friend, right?" Frank asked, using his best puppy-dog eyes. It was true, ever since the day Mikey confessed his feelings, the two had been stuck together. "Um, no, he's not." Mikey admitted, silently asking Gerard to forgive him. "Kaaayy! Really?!" Frank squealed. "Do you think I have a chance?!" "I-I don't know, Frankie." I pretend to be sad. "I mean, you're he's student. Gee never has been one to do something that drastic." "Oh, Mikey, crushing my dreams." Frank faked a pout, which soon turned into a smile. "So, what are his interests?" Mikey giggled, Frank does not give up. "His hobbies? Does he have a girlfriend?" Frank just kept asking.
"Oh! Mikey! This one's serious! Do you have any nudes?!"
"Frank!" Mikey blushed. "Why would I have nudes of him!?!?!" "Who might we be talking about?" Gerard asked, coming out of nowhere. "Gee!" Mikey squeaked out of surprise. "Gee? I'm sorry, I'm Mr. Way." Gerard winked and Frank was flushed red. "Mind if I sit with you, Mikes and, uh, Frank?" Frank nodded. "Yeah, Frank. And I don't mind." "Sure, Mr. Way." Mikey said in a mocking voice. "So, Mikes, making friends? That's good." Gerard nodded, eyeing Frank up and down, before seeming satisfied. Frank was completely red and picked at his food, not really hungry anymore. He was too nervous. "Yeah." Mikey nodded, becoming really uncomfortable. Their legs were brushing and he knew Gerard knew what it was doing to him. Gerard smirked as his hand crept up Mikey's leg and Mikey shot a glare at him. "What, Mikes?" Gerard faked innocence and Frank looked between them wondering what was happening. "So, Mikes, is Frank here someone who will be staying over late at night for "homework"." Gerard asked, knowing just how to make Mikey blush and squirm. "No!" Mikey blushed and he could tell Gerard was having the same effect on Frank. "Are you suuuuurrreee?" Gerard asked. "I don't know, Frankie here is kind of cute. Plus, he looks just your type, Mikey." "Gee!" Mikey squeaked. "Okay, seeing you at school, at home, and during lunch is too much! Bye!" Mikey shooed him away. "Oh, Mikes, you're so cold. You're lucky I love you!" Gerard kissed the top of Mikey's head and left, laughing. "Frank-" "Mikey, did you hear that?!" Frank squealed, bouncing in his chair. "He called me cute!!!!!!" "He also said we should hook up." Mikey laughed. "Let me have my joy!!" Frank was too happy to even fake a pout. "Mikey, he called me cute!!!" Frank squealed again. "Okay, there's the bell, let's go." Mikey hurried to get out of there. But groaned when he realized they had next period together. Art. All during class, Frank whispered the same thing over and over to Mikey, as if he couldn't believe it unless he was speaking the words. "Frank, stop, okay? He's your teacher, man!" Mikey scolded softly, not wanting the hurt the younger's feelings, but to be honest, Frank was unintentionally hurting his. "Sorry, Mikey. I know he is, I know he'll never love me the way I love him, but I just-" Frank was interrupted by his own sobs and Mikey got up to hug his best friend. Everyone else was gone and it was just them and Gerard. For that he was grateful. "Please....don't tell him, okay? He doesn't-doesn't h-have to worry ab-about me. He pro-Probably has a b-boyfriend." Frank sobbed harder and Mikey tightened his arms around Frank. "I won't tell him if you don't want me to, but Frank, why wouldn't he like you? You're amazing. You're energetic and fun. You listen to cool music, and have a rad horror movie collection. You're exactly what he would love." Mikey whispered and eventually Frank stopped crying. "Thanks Mikey. You're the best friend I could've ever asked for." Frank said and Mikey smiled. "Thanks Frankie. You're pretty cool yourself." Mikey gave Frank one last squeez before Frank said he had to go. "Mikey...." Gerard whispered behind him. "You're too nice, you know that?" Gerard hugged Mikey to him. "Comforting someone else although it obviously hurts you to do so. Frank has a crush on me, doesn't he? And you told him I'd like him anyway?" Gerard asked and Mikey nodded. "I love you." Mikey's breath hitched. "I love you too, Gee." Mikey whispered and pressed their lips together before they had to go home. "Mom will worry." Gerard explained before pecking Mikey's lips on last time and taking him to his car. Mikey sighed and nodded, walking silently along side Gerard. What would he do about Frank, though? Could he lie about Gerard to him forever?
