Our Lady of Sorrows
Summary
She was twelve when the Minister's son befriended her, her piercing ocean eyes saw right through him. She was fourteen when he went away on his Missionary trip, when she started hanging out with his brother. And by the time she was seventeen, ripe and ready for him, she didn't care if he was devout to his faith - she'd rip that collar off with her teeth if she had to.
*I know the age difference is a bit odd at the beginning of this story, but nothing unholy is going on until she is of an appropriate age.
Characters
Evie Addams
Twelve at the start of the story, she is quiet and observing. Her parents attend the Way's church and that's where she first meets Gerard. They bond, and as years pass she finds herself friends with Mikey and infatuated with the older, untouchable Way.
Gerard Way
Eighteen at the start of the story, he has just graduated from Seminary High School and returned to be Preacher at his father's church, where he befriends the quiet, twelve year old Evie Addams. He is a Preacher and in line for the Minister's throne under his parents wishes, but others know it's not what he truly wants. He is charming and likable at church, but is crass, snarky and moody elsewhere. He's always liked little Evie Addams, until he realizes just how little she isn't anymore.
Mikey Way
He is fifteen at the start of the story, and is the younger of the Way boys. He is moody and annoyed like any teenager, and Gerard often envies him for his freedom to be himself and dress how he likes. He cares for his brother deeply and just wants him to be happy, whether that be what their parents want or not.
Ray Toro & Frank Iero
They are bandmates and best friends of the Ways. Ray is Gerard's best friend from childhood, and Frank is Mikey's. They attend public school and started the band with Gerard in Middle school. They accept Gerard's decision to follow his parents wishes, but usually rag on him about it when he visits home. (*I picked this picture because every time I look at it, a little part of me dies with hilarity.)

u know, every couple of months, i remember this story and how it's one of my fave mcr stories, and i come on by, checking to see if it's updated. and every time, i'm so sad bc it isn't. tho, i understand if like life got in the way, or if u lost interest, but i'm still sad. i sincerely hope u haven't abandoned this, i want to read so much more! imma still be a hopeful loser and keep checking every couple months for an update, so until that happens, i will just be casually dying in a corner somewhere, probably.
