The next morning I was greeted with the sound of heavy rain pattering on my window. The room was dark so I huddled deeper under the covers. I sighed in content of the warm feeling of being under blankets. Closing my eyes I remembered Gerard and I’s day out , which reminds that I still have his jacket. I pulled the covers tighter around me , snuggling my back into the pillows surrounding my body. In substitute of gerard holding me I put pillows. Pathetic , yes , but did function well. Just as I was going to slip unconsinous again a loud clap of thunder rang through the room. I screetched and jumped up , curling under the thick covers. More thunder shook the house , causing some of the windows to rattle slightly. I shuddered at the sound and slid my hand from under the covers to reach the nearest book. I sighed and flicked to the page i left on last night and let my mind venture into the world of words. Just as I was about to flip to the last page someone knocked at the door. Of course it was still raining and lightning lit up the sky. I furrowed my brow because I certianly was not expecting someone , no one ever came to the house. Another knock rang through out the empty house. I sighed and wrapped a quilt around my bare shoulders , walking down the stairs cautiously. The heavy quilt trailed behind me almost like a kings robe. I smiled and walked more elegantly down the stairs , like I was making an enterance. Slowly I opened my front door a crack , clutching the quilt with one hand. Who I saw I was not expecting.
“Gerard?” my eyes widened at him shivering. I immediatly opened the door and ushered him inside. He was soaked and his wet hair clung to his forehead. He sighed and shook out his hair like a dog , spraying cold droplets of water everywhere.

Gerard closely followed me into my room. At least I had the common sense to clean my room the day before , so I didn’t need to worry about any dirty laundry. He sighed and sat down on my messy bed , which was caged in by piles of books. “So um not to be rude , but why are you here anyway?” I said while bending down to search through my bottom drawer. “I uh , originally came to pick you up to uh see if you wanted to catch a movie or somethin’” he said , distracted by something. I shifted my body to the left to go through the pile next to the one previously searched. “Then it just - uh started rainin’ out of no where so here we are.” he said with the same distracted voice. “Oh well thats nice , I have some pretty good movies here if you’d like to watch one of them.” I said holding up one of my biggest tee shirts I owned. I turned to him and he was leaned back onto the wall against my bed. I walked over to him and sat down next to him handing him the shirt. The blanket I was holding around me sagged so my back was exposed. “Thanks” he murmred , looking a bit uptight. “A-are you okay?” I looked at him , worried if he had caught something from walking outside in the rain. At this point it was pouring outside the rain hadent let up at all. All he did in response was toss the shirt across the room then kiss me furiously. The rain had let up and had subdued to a soft drizzle. “Hell yeah.” he said softly , but jokingly. I hummed in response before falling asleep in his warm chest. Hoping that he’d say those three words a million times more.
