On the Corner of Locust and Loraine

on the corner of locust and loraine,
in a rather large house, for a medium sized family,
just a set of parents, and a set of daughters,
and four bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and two living spaces,
(one's in the finished basement)
the new medium sized family moves in,

mikey's eager to go visit,
but mom and dad say to let them settle in,
even just for a day,
i watch as the sister with dyed hair,
and darker clothes carts in a sizeable box,
labeled: 'Mandy's Tapes (yuck!)',
she looks down and smiles at the writing,
she's in serious need of new shoes.
