The Light Behind Your Eyes (Frerard vs Waycest)
The Pros and Cons Of Breathing
Truth was, Gerard liked the self pity. He liked feeling sorry for himself. Gerard was an awful human being; he deserved it. I mean, who falls in love with their brother and their best friend at the same time and then rejects them? What was even the point of living? Breathing, eating, washing, drinking, over and over. Was there a secret to it? No, it was just all meaningless. Living had no soul purpose because it's so simple to stop living. It's so simple. If only Gerard had the courage. The courage to empty the bottle again and again, tip the pill bottle, bring down the razor, pull the trigger, go out in traffic. There were numerous ways to die. What if it got better? What if Frankie loved him back and Mikey forgave the both of them? Gerard buried his head in his knees, wrapping his arms around his legs as tears soaked through his dirty jeans. "Gee?" Mikey called. Hey both had the ability to tell when the other was unbearably sad and it only made Gerard cry harder. Mikey. "Don't..." Gerard stood, wobbling over to the door, grasping the handle. "Don't come in." He whispered, his voice wrecked with tears. "Oh Gee." Mikey sighed. Gerard allowed the tears to drip down his chin as he slid down the door, knowing Mikey was on the otherside if the door in the same position. "M-Mikey." Gerard took a deep breath, leaning his head against the door, closing his eyes. "I love you so much." "Love you too," Mikey smiled slightly. "Brother Dearest." He added. Their favorite film growing up, the main character looked kinda like Gerard did way back then and he would call his best friend, "brother dearest" and this the nickname was developed. Gerard's sobs stuck in his throat as he cried harder. Only this time Mikey was by his side again. Oh, Mikey.
