subliminal events

I was sitting in the back of my mum's car with Gerard to my left. She was driving us to get Chinese food.
G was my father.
It was like I was meeting him for the first time kind of. He had Hesitant Alien hair.
It was so lovely for that short time. Like I could have a father (I don't know what it's like so in dreams it's amazing)
All I remember though is him offering me a mint out of this big blue mint box and I declined every time. He asked if I was sure, and I asked why I would take a mint now when we were going to eat soon.
