The pitta patter of the gentle April rain against the cold window was sort of calming in a way. It was soft little noises, making a sort of hypnotic rhythm. For some, listening to the rain would not seem very entertaining. But for young fertile, Frank Iero, it was one of the few things that kept him busy when visiting his grandparents in England. The cold air of the country wasn't something he could ever get used to, so he spent most of his time inside while it rained. And rained. And kept on raining even more.

Frank and his parents lived in New Jersey, America. Soon, frank would be turning sixteen, meaning his mating ceremony would be soon and franks mom and dad were hoping that his grandparents would join them for a small party they would be throwing. Of course, like any normal Vampire grandparents, they will be attending, but since there's still a week left of spring break franks parents decided to stay in England for a little longer.

"I never knew watching the rain could be so entertaining for a teenager." Franks mother, Sarah stated, laughing softly, making Frank jump slightly at the sudden noise.

Frank turned his head back to the rain and mumbled, "Nothing better to do in this boring country."

This made his mother sigh, "We haven't seen your grandparents in two years. The least you could do is not be rude and act like you enjoy it here!"

Frank got up from the windowsill and looked at his mother, "how can anyone enjoy it here? I have no friends here. The only thing grandma and grandpa like to do is read books all day! Mom, they don't even have a TV!? How am I supposed to act like I enjoy it here when it has to be the most boring place ever!?" he almost shouted.

After a few seconds Franks father, Jason, walked in, "what’s all this shouting about?" he asked looking in between the two fertiles questionably. It was then he noticed the tears in Sarah's eyes. He turned his head to his son, "Frank... Did you just make your mother cry?" he asked, sounding rather calm. Frank nodded a little, knowing he would be told of even more if he lied. "Don’t you EVER do that again!" Jason said, pulling his fertile wife close to him. Frank nodded and looked up at his father, mumbling that he was going to go find a book to read or something, and quickly shuffled out the room, after apologising to his Mom.

The rest of the week went by pretty quickly. Frank spent most of the time reading a bunch of random books from the library at his grandparents, which was pretty boring, but it was better than doing nothing in his opinion. He got home the day before school started again, and so he decided to spend the Sunday before going into the Internet to check Facebook and twitter and tumblr and all the other social networks he uses. After looking through his new feed he sees a status by his best Dom friend, Ray Toro, saying that there’s going to be a lot more vampires attending their school now, as another clan from somewhere in Florida had decided to move and join clans with theirs.

To say frank was excited would be the understatement of the year. It just so happened the clan that was joining his had some of the hottest dominator vampires... EVER! Including the world famous, Gerard Way. Even though Gerard was only fifteen, like Frank, he was still well known for his wicked torture methods and how he would make sure every human piece of scum that that ever pissed him off was killed slowly, and painfully.

But Frank was just.... Frank. You're average teenage fertile. He wasn't anything special. Millions of people didn't know his name. He was just... Not something that he thought a Dom like Gerard would ever want. This, of course, made Frank rather unhappy, and he fell asleep that Sunday night with a frown on his face, and was then met with no dreams, just darkness.
