I'm Not Okay

Within a matter of minutes I was back in my room at the hospital and Gerard was next to me holding my hand and smiling like an idiot. My stomach was almost completely flat it scared me, I haven't been able to see my feet for a few months and now I could see them again; it was weird. My mom came over to me and leaned down to kiss my head.

"Was the second’s time around any easier?" She asked, Bryce was in her arms and he was reaching down for me.

"Not really, but I got two prizes this time." I said and took Bryce from her arms.

"Be careful baby." Gerard said and readjusted peanut so he was higher up and was nowhere near my stitches.

I just rolled my eyes at him and cuddle with Bryce and he cuddled back with me. Gerard smiled down at us and snapped a quick picture of us on his phone.

"Are you ready to meet your sisters?" I asked him and kissed his chubby cheek. He just blabbed in response.


****one hour later****

"Okay Frank, these two have been waiting to meet their daddies." Dr. Shannon said as she and a nurse came in with my two bundles of joy. My face brightened up so much and the smile felt like it was gonna crack my face in two.

"Alright, here is baby A." She said and handed her to me, "and here is baby B." She said as the nurse handed her to Gee. "Now we need their names, baby A was out first, her name?"

"Francesca Elizabeth Iero-Way." I said and cuddled her close to me and stroked her face, she was much smaller then Bryce was but still one hundred percent perfect, she had a few strands of dark brown hair, she was sleeping so I couldn't see her eyes. I wanted to know if she had hazel eyes like Gerard and I or green like her brother.

"And for baby B?" She asked and gestured to Gerard, he was just as taken with her as I was with little Frankie.

"Giovanna Elena Iero-Way." He answered.

"Both very adorable names." She said, "Someone will be back in about an hour with a pair of bottles. Congratulations."

"Thanks doc." I said then she left.

"Come here babe." I said and he came closer to me, we put them right next to each other and started to admire them, little Gee was a bit smaller then little Frankie but still perfect. She had matching hair like her sister; but she was awake and I got to she's her beautiful hazel eyes.

"Well hello my beautiful pumpkin." I said and stroked her face. "Mom bring peanut over." Soon peanut was here and staring down at his sisters.

"Be careful baby." Gerard said as peanut leaned down and patted his sister’s tummy. He patted little Frankie's tummy and that woke her up, her little hazel eyes shot open and she looked around the room, I saw her face starting to quiver up and soon her little cries filled the room. Her crying scared little Gee and she started crying and not long later Bryce decided he should start crying as well.

"Now this is the part I wasn't looking forward to." I said as I snuggled Frankie in my arms, Gerard did the same with Gee and my mom did the same with Bryce.

"Don't cry sweet pea, he was just saying hi." I told her and kissed her face.

Soon they all stop crying and we reintroduced them to each other and they seemed to get along better and that was a good thing. Gerard and I also decided to tell Ray and out manger about the twins and how we "took a ride trip up to where the twins were born" and how we'd be back in a few days with the girls. They wished us the best and said they'd come to visit when we got back. Not long later I posted a long message on Twitter explaining how the twin’s mom was also Bryce mom and wanted all of her kids to be together and blah blah blah the big lie, but it was necessary for everything to work out. The doctor wanted us to stay overnight so we did and we were told we'd be discharged as a family early the next day. We had also texted Mikey to bring by the car seats we wanted when he came to visit the next day.

*** Next day****

"Knock knock." Mikey said upon entering my room, both girls had decided to wake up very early and start crying so Gerard and I were up and taking care of them when he walked in, Bryce was getting fussy last night so my mom took him home.

"Look pumpkin its uncle Mikey!" I said as I turned her in my arms to see him.

"Pumpkin? Well that's an unusual name." He said then laughed.

"Very funny Mikey." I said as I handed her over to him, "it's just her nick name, kinda like how peanut is Bryce's nickname."

"Then what's that's ones nick name?" He asked and gestured too little Frankie who Gerard was holding.

"Sweet pea. I kinda just came up with it." I said as I smiled and leaned back down on my pillow, I was kinda tired.

"Babe we got them for now, take a nap or something, we'll wake you up if something interesting is happening." Gerard said.

"These are my babies, they're always interesting." I pointed out but nevertheless closed my eyes, Gerard pecked my lips and I soon drifted off to sleep.
