I'm Not Okay

When we came down stairs and made our way into the dining room, my mother and Mikey were sitting at the table patiently waiting and sipping on wine while peanut was in his high chair eating some food. I let go of Gerard's hand and walked over to peanut and kissed his head.

"Did you start eating without us?" I asked in a baby voice.

"Well he's been sitting there for like fifteen minutes, he was beginning to get fussy." Mikey said in a matter of fact voice.

"Well excuse us." I said as I took a seat, Gerard pushed my chair in for me and I muttered a thank you.

"You're excused." My mother said as she started to serve herself. We all laughed as we began to eat.

Throughout dinner Gerard and Mikey were sharing looks to one another and when they'd catch me looking at them they'd either turn around or start up a random conversation. I raised my eyebrow at Gerard but he just shrugged his shoulders and go back to eating. When we finished eating I started to go pick peanut up to give him his bath but my mother stopped me.

"You shouldn't be picking him up when you're so far along." She scolded me then took him.

"Fine then you give him his bath." I told her.

"I will." She said then stuck her tongue out at me and I did the same back.

"Babe come here." Gerard said as he put his coat on and handed me mine.

"Where are we going?" I asked as I slipped it on. It may not be snowing like it probably is in New Jersey but its pretty damn cold down in California.

"Just in the back for a minute." He said then looked to my mom and nodded. She smiled and disappeared into the kitchen.

"Oookay." I said as we laced hands and walked into the back yard. He took me to the bench we had between two trees and cleared off some snow and had me sit down, it was dark and cold.

But as I opened my mouth to complain lights went off, the two trees we were sitting in between were decorated with beautiful lights. I know I didn't put them up or that they were up when I went to bed last night so Gerard must have done them after I went to bed.

"Gerard there beautiful." I said admiring the lights.

"Not nearly as beautiful as you." He complimented me.

I turned to kiss him on the cheek but he was no longer sitting next to me, he was now standing in front of me looking really nervous. I opened my mouth to ask him what was wrong but he shook his head and I closed my mouth. But it dropped open again when he got down on one knee and pulled out a little black box.

"Frank, I really don't know how to start this so I'm gonna start with how much I love you. I fucking love the shit out of you. Before we were together I thought I knew what happiness was and what it felt like but I was dead wrong. And even though I didn't deserve it, you still gave me your heart, and to add to that you gave me a son. He is more then I could ever ask for, and now you're giving me two new beautiful little girls; and I will forever be thankful for that. Even though you have giving me way more than I deserve, I'm still going to ask for one more thing; your hand in marriage, Frank Anthony Iero, will you marry me?" He asked.

I was so happy I felt like I was about to cry, the babies were kicking pretty hard so I assume they're pretty excited to. I couldn't form any words so I just stuck my left hand out and nodded my head. Gerard let out a little sob of happiness and slipped the ring on my finger then stood up and pulled me into a long, loving kiss. We would have kissed longer but cheering from the back porch, we pulled apart and saw my mom hold peanut and Mikey cheering. I blushed and rested my head on Gerard's shoulder and he chuckled as he pulled me close to him.

"Come on baby." He whispered in my ear then pressed a kiss to my forehead, "it’s cold outside." He said and started to pull me into the house.

“Oh my baby is getting married!” My mother said as she pulled me in for a one armed hug, I blushed even harder and hugged her back; peanut leaned over and gave me a hug as well. I laughed and pulled him into my arms and gave Mikey a hug.

“Congrats!” Mikey said when we pulled apart.

“Thanks!” I was feeling so overwhelmed and excited that there was a weird pit in my stomach, but I ignored it because I was so damn happy. Gerard and I are finally getting married! “I’m going to go put Bryce down for a nap.”

Bryce went to sleep rather quickly and I headed back downstairs to talk to everyone some more but when I got downstairs everyone was gone and Gerard had almost completely cleaned up the entire house.

“Wow babe, it’s clean.” I said as I walked over and hugged him.

“I felt like being nice, now I think its customary for a couple that just got engaged to have sex.” He said into my ear.

“But we just did it this morning.”

“I’m up for another round.” He said.

“Fine.” I said as I pulled him upstairs, he gave out a cheer and I just shook my head.

When we got into our room Gerard stripped out of his clothes except his boxers and went to the bed then removed mine and pulled me on top of him. He pulled me down for an extremely heated make out session and pushed my hips down against his making beautiful friction. I would be really enjoying this if the uncomfortable feeling in my stomach hadn’t gotten worse. I pulled away from his lips and rested my forehead on his and made a face of discomfort. Soon his movements came to a stop and he rested his hand on my lower back.

“You okay baby?” He asked.

“I’m really uncomfortable.” I said as I shifted around and got off his lap. I arched my back and rested both my hands on my lower back and started to walk back and forth. When it started to get worse I leaned over and made another noise of discomfort.

“Baby you’re scaring me, what’s wrong?” He asked as he came over to me and rubbed my lower back.

“Gerard.” I moaned out, “I think I’m in labor.”

Hey people, so the gut I like I decided not to pursue him and leave him as eye candy, for a couple of reasons, like hes really really close to a friend of mine, the kinda close where if we dated I wouldn't be 100% comfortable with. But I'm totally cool with it, oh and I leave for a cruise to Mexico in a few days so updates might not be coming in on a regular update.
