A Little Death Metal Never Hurt Anybody

“Thank you Tallahassee," Gerard screamed into the mic before running behind the rest of the band and heading backstage.
“Great show guys," Mitch said, a bit too excitedly. He was still trying to make up for the whole 'Salem Lords' incedent. They were joining MCR tomorrow night for the first time and Mitch could tell the band was pretty apprehensive about it.
After the Panic! finished their set they left pretty quickly to head up to Chicago, leaving MCR alone to head to the next venue a few hours away..
“That crowd was insane," Mikey said, taking a sip out of a can of Red Bull.
“I know right," Frank said as he rubbed a towel against his head.
“Shame it won't be that good tomorrow," Gerard muttered under his breathe.
“Don't be like that. They might be really good. Don't judge them just by that one song," Mikey snapped back. “And anyway, the support doesn’t make or break the show.”
“But they're shit. What the fuck are Kerrang and AP going to say," Gerard snapped back even louder.
“Fuck'em," Ray said as he opened the door to the dressing rooms.
“And the fans? Or are you just going to say 'fuck them' as well. They’re the entire reason we can do this tour, or have you forgotten that our job is to entertain them,” Gerard growled as he slammed his half full bottle of water onto a nearby table.
“Let’s just wait til tomorrow before we start throwing judgments," Mikey interrupted, sounding half-defeated. “Let’s just get some sleep and worry about it tomorrow.”
The bus is out the back. See you guys tomorrow,” Mitch said quietly as he slipped out of the room.
Gerard left the rest of the guys in the dressing rooms and headed back onto the bus. He decided to check his twitter after he climbed into his bunk. The screen lit up the small space as he scrolled through the feed. He had already gotten a few hundred comments about the change on supporting act but there was two comments that really made him worry. @KerrangMagazine’s latest tweet was asking if this tour would be the downfall of MCR. ‘A bit overdramatic but whatever,’ he thought to himself. The next was a bit weirder. @AsylumLords only had one tweet: Both will rise but one will fall. ‘What the fuck kind of weirdos has Mitch set us up with…’
