Life is just a blur

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HIM?" I scream at Barman.
"Calm down. I just stopped the time to talk with you about this d-" he coughs, "boy. Do you trust him?"
"Yes! He told me he loves me!" l stop.
"He thought that, he didn't actually tell me. He doesn't know that I can read minds, so it must be true!" I breathe another time, rage taking over me, "I knew him in my past life! He must have been an angel like me and you!"
He laughs without happiness. An empty laugh. "Rahatiel, I'm really sorry. I can't tell you anything," he gesticulates, trying to find the right words to say.
I try to read his mind, but he moves his index in a silent 'no'.
"Fun fact: You can also hide your thoughts. Being the angel of intelligence comes in handy," he says. "Anyway, I'm afraid that you're wrong. Really wrong.""About what?" I ask.
"About him," he gestures towards Frank.
My heart falls down. What did he do?
I was an angel, my life couldn't be bad. I was a creature of God, I must have been perfect!
Barman sighs, whispering. "Unfortunately, no."
Why?
Then I remember.
I killed myself.
"Barman, I think I had a flashback this morning," I say.
"Go on," he tells me, looking defeated.
"I was flying, but then I fell down?" I play with my hoodie's strings. "I remember turning around to see the start, I exactly thought 'my stars'."
"You can't hear your thoughts in a flashback," he says as if that was obvious.
"What could it be?"
"Well, when an angel dies, his thoughts and memories go to someone else," he nibbles at his nails. "Not another angel, though, but someone he met in his life. It's rare for angels to die, so I don't know a lot about that," he shrugs.
"Who did I know in my past life?"
"Um."
"Come on, you can tell me that! You don't have to tell me what they were."
"You weren't really popular. You weren't even in the heavenly choir... You only had me and another friend, Lix Tetrax."
That makes me sigh. "What was he like?" I ask.
"She. Uh, you should know her, she told me you met each other."
Uh? "She told you?"
"Yeah, I met her yesterday afternoon," he giggles, "She's a nice angel. What a shame she fell."
"Fell? Angel?"
"Geez, you only need to mix those words a bit to get it."
An angel who fell.
A fallen angel.
A her.
Sylwia?
"Yes, her." he agrees "We need to hurry, he," he points at Frank, "will wake up in five minutes, forgetting he saw me. We-" he moves his hand as to cancel his last word, then points at me.
"You need to lie to him."
"You seem to like pointing at people. Why me?"
"Angels can't lie," he sing-songs.
"But you won't tell me anything!" I protest.
"That's not lying," he says, laughing.
I need to remember not to get into arguments with him.
But he's so intelligent and wants to look like that, that he NEEDS to complete other's sentences...
"So you're saying Sylwia made me remember...?""Your death," he says, then bites his tounge. "Damn!"
"No swearing, Barman!" I say, giggling, then become serious because Frank is starting to move again.
Barman folds his wings in a few seconds, and I hold Frank in my arms to hide the angel.
"Gee," Frank whispers, holding me tighter, kissing my neck and making me shiver.
"Ewww," I hear Barman behind me "I'm going away, Gee, bye! Don't make too much noise," he winks at Frank and he smiles.
When Barman closes the door, Frank lets go of me and I say, "Mikey, brother."
"I'm sorry, but I really don't care. I just want you right now," he says, walking to me.
I feel a smile creeping on my face while he puts his hands behind my neck and lifts himself up to reach my lips with his. He smells of chocolate and cigarettes. I close my eyes, feeling his breath on my smile, then his mouth against my own, his hands in my hair and mine on his hips, squeezing them.
I feel his warm tounge asking for entrance, and I part my lips.
Our tounges move, brushing against the other, and I open my eyes a bit to see Frank is squinting his own. He's so adorable.
My right hand goes to his ass, and I feel him smiling in our kiss.
He breaks it and starts to breathe again. He's still in my arms, he's so warm. I feel him pulling my hair lightly and accidentally let out a moan in his neck. He smirks, "Good to know."I start nibbling at his neck and I lick the shell of his ear, hearing him moan my name into my collarbone.
That is the best sound ever. I want to hear it more frequently.
"Good to know," I whisper in his ear, my lips brushing it. He shivers.
I let him go and he pouts.
I pinch his cheeks, I can't help it, and he laughs.
"Do you smoke?" I ask him, remembering his smell and he nods."I actually feel like an eight year old while I do that," he says, giggling.
"Why?"
As to answer, he moves both his hands from his head to his toes.
"Well, I don't think there are lots of eight year olds as sexy as you," I smirk.
He blushes. "I'm not that tall," he explains, "And also, when I let out the smoke, I feel like a dragon..." he covers his eyes, embarrassed.
I walk silently to him while he doesn't see me and lightly kiss his lips. "I love you anyway," I whisper against his mouth.
He parts his lips in a silent 'oh', then moves his hand away from his eyes and says, "I love you too".
I'm sure I loved him in my past life.
And he loved me back.
