Life is just a blur

FRANK'S POV

Gerard freezes and makes the same face I would make if I saw a ghost. I just wanted to know more about him, I barely know him.
"W-what do you mean?" he says stuttering.
Man, he surely has some kind of mysterious secret if he reacts like that.
I put a hand on his shoulder and say "Calm down, I only wanted to know you more"
He lets out a breath he was holding.
However, I don't get to hear his answer. Instead, I hear something that seems more like a war cry, almost like the "This is Sparta" one.
"Little faaaairy Ear-o!" I hear from behind me.
I cringe hearing my second name being pronounced wrong and, if that isn't enough, recognizing the voice as Justin Greene's.
Gerard looks at him and me and whispers to himself something like "I thought it was I-year-o" giving his back to me.
"Who's that girl?" Justin says, pointing at Gerard "I bet she's your sister, she's too tall to be your girlfriend" and, with a lower voice, he whispers "Or maybe she's not your girlfriend since you're a faggot"
His friends laugh and I feel like I'm going to cry. I don't want him nor Gerard to see me crying, so I cover my face with my hands.
In fact, I only hear Gerard turning to face Justin and his voice lower than ever.
"Listen up, you little shit. Don't you dare saying any other thing to Frank, or I'm going to make your life like hell"
I look in front of me from the spaces between my fingers, only to see Justin's pupils shrinking in fear and Gerard's eyes burning with anger, his face red, his hands holding the other boy's shoulders.
Before letting him go, he puts his index in Justin's skin between his neck and his shoulders, and presses there, while pressing his right foot behind Justin's left knee.
Justin's eyes close and he falls down, his friends watching him and then Gerard in fear.
"Run" I hear Gerard saying, feeling him move my hand from my face and holding it.
We start running, and when we turn right I feel as if I was hit by cold water, but when I lift my free hand to see if it was actually wet... I don't see it.
I look at Gerard and he isn't there, but I still feel his hand holding mine, and I hear his voice. "Don't ever let go"
I'm scared.
I hear Justin and his friends running behind us, and Gerard stops, holding my hand tighter.
I know he's looking at Justin, and I look at him too.
He's still running, saying to his friends that we're behind the corner. He doesn't end his sentence, though, because he falls down with his friends over him.
I hear Gerard laughing, and we start running again. This time, I see him, his hair almost covering all his face, eyes sparkling and a big smile. I feel my smile growing and I chuckle. I don't know what happened but, hey, Gerard is holding my hand.
I wish I always thought like this. Smiling without thinking.
But, curiosity wins over me and, when we stop again and he lets go of my hand, I look at him and ask him "How did you do that?"
He curses, then says "I don't know. I didn't even know I would get powers becoming what I am..."
"What? What are you?"
"Oh, shit." he shakes his head "I shouldn't have said that"
I sigh, and decide to tell him what I thought when I talked to him for the first time.
"Gerard" he turns to me "I wanted to let you know that, when I saw you, I felt like I could trust you. Like... You know when you have a friend you've known for your whole life? I feel like I've already met you. I know I can tell you everything, I don't want to have any secret." this is awkwaaaard, he's looking at me as if I was crazy.
"What I'm trying to tell you" let's make it shorter "is that I had amnesia, and I don't remember my past before last year. And I feel comfortable telling you" I pause. "Thought you should know that"
He gasps. "Frank... I'm sorry" he whispers, before disappearing, only leaving his last words floating in the air.
