I'll Remember This Night When You're Gone.
Summary
Prologue
My name is Frank Anthony Iero, I am a nineteen year old, gay musician from New Jersey.
I was born in 1981 on October 31 and my Nonna died on October 19, 2000.
I was visiting her tomb stone, exactly a year after she died of a heart attack on a rainy, October day. A little over a week before my birthday. I remember spending my 19th birthday in a funeral home, mourning over the loss of my grandmother. I missed her more than I could ever tell anyone.
I was walking towards her gravestone after getting out of my car. The rain was pouring down on me, just like it had the year before. It was cold and the autumn winds were howling. I hand a bouquet of red roses in my right hand and tears rushed down my face. I placed the flowers on her grave, mumbling a quiet, “I miss you” to my Nonna and walking away. I was forced to the ground, fainting as I fell face-first into the cemetery grass.
Awesome!!
