Gerard's POV

"Gerard huh?"

I nodded quickly. he leaned back and I swear he smiled.

"I like that name. It's so.......you. It's so unique."

its so me? What did that mean. This dude well 'Carl' didn't know anything about me.

'So uh Carl?' I start nervously. I mean the look in this dudes eyes he cares I shouldn't be so scared.

"Yes Gerard?" He smiles when he says my name.

'Why am I here? What are they gonna do to me?'
i don't ask him what he's going to do to me. If I get hurt I doubt he would have had anything to do with it. His smile falters, but he answers while still trying to smile, he kinda fails.

"Well." He starts out not seeming to know how to put it and I begin to expect the worse.

"I'm not sure what they're going to do to you kitten (haha see what I did there? Awkward attempt at being clever) and I know just as much as you do." His eyes give every emotion away and I can see he's sincere when he says. "I'm sorry"

'It's fine, Carl' I say smiling weakly.

He gets up and looks at me

''I won't let them hurt you. I promise"

when he begins to walk away I instinally wish he would stay with me.

Now I'm alone again. I lay back down and notice a second cell with a shorter man on the bunk I can't make out every detail, because his back is to me but I can tell he's been here awhile.

'Hello?' I ask hoping to catch his attention.

He sits up and looks at me his eyes are a beautiful hazel and he's probably the most attractive man I've ever seen.

'i'm Gerard' I stutter I can feel myself blushing.

'Oh hi. I'm Frank'
