Gerard's POV

i walked over onto my balcony to just watch the world go and move. It was raining and I found it incredibly calming, I held my coffee cup with both my hands and held it to my face letting the refreshing smell take over and conquer my nose. I closed my eyes and took in the scent of the coffee and the wet pavement. A slight drizzle was falling and I couldn't think of a better time to be enjoying the world. I set the coffee cup down and slid the sleeves of my black baggy shirt to cover my hands, I felt incredibly childish but cozy. It was my favorite feeling. I picked my coffee cup back up and continued watching the world go by and enjoy the rain. I seen a blue car slowly drove by. It had a family inside and I instantly got a feeling of loneliness find it's way into my stomach. Why couldn't I share these moments with someone else? What had I done to deserve such loneliness? I begin to blink rapidly to keep the tears that I didn't know we're forming at bay. I sighed and set the mug down and walked back inside not bothering to shut the door I didn't think there was a need to. After all this was a very nice silent neighborhood.

Hello! I am Atomic Lithium! This story was written on impulse so I don't know where it'll be going so I'm not sure it'll be all that good.
