The Interrogation Room

i still had to know his secret. well, all of them and for an incredibly insecure, short man he was pretty good at not trusting anyone and keeping his darkest secrets to himself.

"frankie..." i began.
"yes?" he smirked back at me, he didn't really know what i was about to say.
"tomorrow you have to go back to the police you know that don't you? i have to interrogate you again, but i can't be nice. i have to get it out of you somehow. i'm so sorry. but it's my job. me being here is so unprofessional. i'm sorry, it's all my fault, Frank." i whispered, looking down at my toes because i didn't want to see the pained expression on his face.
"i know. do what you have to do, just so long as you don't forget about this." he whispered back, to my surprise not complaining.
Frank rolled over to face me and stared deep into my eyes.
"Gerard does this mean we're dating?" he asked in the cutest manner i have ever seen. he wasn't even trying to be adorable.
"of course it does" i sealed the question with a gentle kiss. i instantly knew i shouldn't have said that because he was also my client. i had to be brutal on him...but it's just different with Frank. i didn't want to hurt him, but being forceful might be the only hope...
that's when it dawns on me.
he said he never had any friends? never had anyone to love? was never comfortable with anyone?
i think i'm his only chance. if anyone, it's going to be me that finds out.
i go for it.
"frank, do you trust me?" i rushed out, not really thinking what i was saying.
he looked sceptical. his eyes darted around once or twice like he was looking for an answer. he furled his eyebrows and bit his lip, making his bottom lip stick out. adorable.
"you know what? yeah. i think i do."
i don't even respond. i kiss him deeply and he kisses back, hugging me even tighter.
"i'm so proud of you frankie" i mumble out between kisses.
he stopped and smiled the biggest grin i have ever seen on his face before.
"i think i love you" he purred into my ear.
"i think i do too" i whispered.

and that, ladies and gentlemen, is the beginning to a whole new chapter of Frank's life. with me.
