The Interrogation Room
the friendly approach.
I skimmed through franks case studies and sighed. Another one? I knew he's unstable but... Again? It would be so much easier if he could just tell someone who did it to him. But its difficult when you mentally cannot trust anyone. "he's been through some shit..." I thought to myself. I had to go talk to him. Poor guy...i didn't want to be harsh on him but I have to, it's my job. I opened the bleak grey door and sat down. He seemed tense and nervous, as always. he was a nervous wreck. I couldn't see his face properly at first because his hoodie and hair covered it, but as soon as I spoke, he looked up at me. He was gorgeous...but he was also not to be seen in that way, its just... Weird. He really was. He was only a few years younger than me.
"this is going to take as long as you let it, Mr. Iero" I spoke, calmly and firmly.
I could see him visibly blush as did I.
"I can't tell you" he whispered.
I stood up and paced around.
" you know, frank, this is going to take obviously longer if you don't tell me who did it to you" I stated. I tried to make myself clear.
He shuddered at the thought.
"just trust me."
"I don't know you" he whispered back, choking back tears.
"then how about we get to know each other? Coffee?" I suggest. I didn't want to leave him in this room, it was probably a trigger. I decided the best option was the friendly option. I would befriend him.
"you wouldn't be seen dead with me in public" he spat out.
I put a hand on his shoulder. He jumped a little bit.
"I would love to, if you're alright with it?" I fired back. It sounded almost sarcastic.
"alright. I guess its better than here" he showed a small smile which I returned. I had to make him feel comfortable with me, and if comfortable meant having a tiny crush on him than so be it.
