a pale red spread across my cheeks as i flung from my horizontal position on...the floor? rhythmic tensing pulsed through my legs as i came back to my senses and pulled my body off the hard wood floor. what the fuck was that? i sat up and tried to pull myself up onto my bed. i glanced out the window and was accompanied by the face of a half moon, intriguing to me even if i had seen it every night of my life. only one thing was bothering me which i had failed to notice even before i flopped myself back onto the bed and focused on the raging headache haunting my skull. Gerard. i had that familiar sinking feeling in the bottom of my stomach and i knew something was wrong. a lifelike replica of gerard's soothing voice had vividly interrupted my nonchalant dream of nothingness which chilled me to the bone. where is he? why would he have left in the middle of the night? the arrest was made 3 days ago now, and we had spent the time pissing around in my flat, watching tv and having violent make out sessions which i wasn't too disappointed with. i scrambled over to my answer machine, praying it was all a dream.
then what i dreaded seeing was right in front of my eyes.
i had a god damn voicemail.
