The Interrogation Room

I woke up sprawled across Gerard's body, our legs intertwined. He was already awake and was watching me sleep. I dozily opened my eyes to meet his gorgeous hazel ones. One of his hands was resting on the back of my head and the other was on the small of my back.
"good morning" Gerard smirked at me.
I smirked back and sat up, stretching my arms out in front of me.
Gerard cradled my shoulders and kissed my nose.
"you know what we have to do today, don't you?" He pressed his palms into my arms and I wrapped mine around his torso, leaning into his chest. I didn't want to go and he knew that.
"listen we'll have back up and-" I cut him off.
"I think the guy that took me out was one of the men. I could have recognised him anywhere" I shrugged. I meant it.
Gerard went completely pale.
"oh god...he quivered. "he was hired a few months ago because he was looking for a job, he was with another man who got another job, he was the guy who foll-" Gerard's eyes widened. He knew exactly what was going on. The other man had been following me because it was his job!
They must have had fake CVs or something because he cant have been qualified?
"holy shit" I whispered in pure shock.
"I don't think its safe if you go..." Gerard blushed.
"no I have to go. Have we got weapons?" Coughing out words was difficult seeing as I had just heard the worst thing ever.
"we can have police back us up..." Gerard trailed off.
I was terrified of what was going to happen, but Gerard had gone a certain shade of white, which worried me.
"are you okay Gerard?" I shook his shoulders.
He was breathing rapidly and I could feel his heart beating on mine. I could tell he was having a panic attack.
"gee, calm down. Its okay. Gee. Calm down. We'll be fine." I tried to reassure him,rubbing his back and pulling him into me, like I was protecting him from something. I felt two strong hands on my back hold me as he nuzzled himself into my shoulder. After a minute he was breathing normally again and had a bit more colour in his face when I told him I have a solid left hook, which made him giggle. Even though I actually did...
"go and get dressed. I'll get the kettle on. We need to leave as soon as possible." Gerard smiled at me, grabbing the bit of paper off the bedside table.
Well today is going to be interesting, meeting my almost murderers again.
I was shit scared.
