"I could have Bert. I could have all the drugs, all the alcohol, all the wild nights, all the parties. He could protect me and together we could stay young, forever. With him by my side there wasn't anything I couldn't do, nothing could stop us, we could take over the world if we so desired.
Or I could have Frank. I could have a normal life, be safe constantly, be loved tenderly, have more control over my life. I could actually have a life, one where I worked hard and saw the results. I could be craved, like I had craved Bert back all those months ago. We could fix me, make me into a real healthy person, Make me clean.

Bert McCracken
Wild, youthfull and full of energy. Always knows what's on and is constantly ahead of the game. Leads in his relationship, but loves Gerard more than he's ever admitted to anyone except his boyfriend.
Frank Iero
Younger than the others but is quickly brought into their group. Doesn't have an attraction to drugs or drinking but will hang with the others. Is hardworking and caring and desperately wants to help Gerard, even though Gerard is unaware that he needs help.
Gerard Way
Young and daring, slightly cautious but quickly becomes confident whenever he's with Bert. Admires his boyfriend and can't imagine a life without him.
