Bob's POV

Shit, please let Frank be ok, please?
Ray and I just got to the hospital and we ran almost all the way up to his room, me in the lead. Frank and I have been friends for like forever, and it guess I'm kinda protective of him, so finding out he's in THIS place, it sorta freaked me out.
Where's his damn room?... Oh, wait, there it is. As we rushed in, I seen Frank in that redhead from earliers arms, what the fuck? I dash over and pull him to me, and away from that weirdo "Frank... What happened?" I yell a bit, noticing out of the corner of my eye that the redhead looked scared of me...GOOD. Ray went to talk to him, soft fucker.
Frank started explaining how Gerard's, huh, so THATS the redheads name, whatever, how his dad was beating him and the twins, and Frank had tried to stop him, but got hurt doin' it... this "Gerard" has a lot to answer for, if you ask me.
Suddenly Frank pulled away from me, and went back to "Gerard", and started cooing to him, telling him it's "ok" and "don't cry", fuck I hate this guy. Perhaps I'm being too hard on him, I mean, I haven't even really met him yet, perhaps I shouldn't judge a book by his hair colour...whatever.
Now Ray is pulling me across the room, saying that Frank and his new "friend" need some "space" Yeah right...!
In front of me, sat side by side, were the twins. I hadn't really got a good look at them earlier, but now I did, and suddenly, all my nasty thoughts about chucking "Gerard" into the nearest active volcano, had vanished, as I stared into the most perfect pair of eyes I'd ever seen...the girls, NOT the boys, I'm not like that.
"Hey guys, I'm Ray..." The fro introduced us both, and asked what happened, apparently Gerard hadn't told him before, hey look, no sarcastic speech marks when I said his name, THATS progress, right?
I didn't hear the boys answer, I was too focused on his sister "And I'm Micha" she said, smiling at me.
A moment or two of staring later, the door opened, and three men walked in, one of them introducing them all as cops, and saying they needed to ask some questions.
I saw Micha looked scared, she was shaking, and I wanted to comfort her, so I stepped forward, lifting my hand to place it around her slender shoulder, when the boy...GROWLED at me! I mean, what? Raising both hands in surrender, and my eyebrows too, I backed off.
Gerard, who had now joined the twins, gave his brother a look, and said, quietly "We'll talk", then the cops were asking their questions, and Ray and I went back over to check on Frank, though, HE seemed more interested in the siblings conversation than in us, and I kinda felt jealous. I'm NOT gay!
Soon, the cops left, and Gerard returned to his bed. To tell you the truth, he didn't look so good right now, even paler than before, and it was only seconds later that Frank joined him in his bed, wrapping his arms around the thin boy, and holding him close til he fell asleep.
We never DID eat that pizza.
