I run up the stairs and grab a simple bag to put my belongings in. Well i suppose i wont need to pack clothes, i will be getting my own made when im queen. Wow queen. Never saw that coming. I look back to grab something and am stunned when i see the guard whom is watching me in my room. I forgot about him.
"Is-Is he as bad as they say?" I ask turning around picking my locket with my mothers face in it and putting it in my bag. Hands shaky.
The guard sighs. "I would say yes ma'am but that is going against my king so i will have to ask what you mean?" I turn back to him and see him wink at me. Im not sure why but this makes me feel much better even hearing the horrible news he just told me. I take a deep breath and realize that i only have 5 things in my bag. A toy i played with as a child. My favorite book To Kill A Mockingjay, My locket, My sisters scarf, and last a tiny panting of my family. A single tear runs down my face. What will happen to me?
"Im sorry to say this miss but it seems you only have 3 minuets." The guard says to me in a true fully sad tone. I nod my head at solemnly and grab my bag.

Down stairs everyone is crying, my brother has returned with a bloody back. This makes me sick to my stomach. I drop my bag and rush over to him.
"Ezra are you okay??" I say through sobs.
"I will be alright mer. But listen to me" He says to me in a quiet tone
"Dont let them change you sister, you are good, you can change this nation, you can save us. I believe in you." He says beginning to cry to. I can barely see through the tears, i just nod my head at him. I do my best to hug him without hurting him
"I love you" I say
"I love you too mer" He says back to me. I stand and turn. I see my father mother and Jude.
"I will be okay. This is not the last time i will see you. Don't worry about me." I say in my most convincing voice because honestly i have no idea how this will turn out. They all nod there heads and rush at me hugging me and telling me to stay strong and that they love me. "I love you too" "ill miss you so much" I cry as Gerard comes in and grabs my wrist and bag. I cry out at the rough handling.
"Ill see you soon!" I say to my family as i am forced out the door. A huge pain is sitting on my chest and i cant breath. I think im hyperventilating. Gerard seems to notice and he turns to me
"Dont you dare try and kill yourself. Get yourself together you look ridiculous." He says harshly to me. This only makes me cry more. He shakes his head and lifts me onto a horse and gets on behind me. I stare behind me as we leave seeing my family stand there waving. Everything is going to change now. Im going to be queen.
