Franks P.O.V


I woke up to the sound of my mum banging on my bedroom door and shouting my name.
'Frank, wake up, remember we're moving today. You better have packed everything'.
'Yeah mum, how long till we leave?'
'2-3 hours, I cooked you pancakes for breakfast'
'Okay let me get changed and i'll be down in a minute'

So I get up and head in the bathroom. I turn on the shower and while I wait for it to heat up I strip down to my boxers and look at self in the mirror. I'm disgusted at what I see. Having a pale face making the black rings around my eyes to stand out more, my chest and stomach area covered in scars and bruises and moving on to my legs which are also covered in scar. Oh and also did I mention about how fat I am, 103 pounds that's so fricking heavy. No wonder everyone hates me, im a fat ugly mess, even my dad hates me.

I step into the shower letting the hot water hit my back, it felt so good. I stood there just thinking about Belleville, about the new school and the new bullies.

I wash my hair and my body, as I step out of the shower and wrap a towel around my waist, I walk into my room to find some clothes. I pick out a Smashing Pumpkins t-shirt and some black skinny jeans. I dry my hair and put some eyeliner on before walking down stairs to be greeted by my mum.

We're putting our things into the back of the van, getting ready to leave when I realised that I have left my phone in my room. As I run up to get it my dad walks out of his room and towards me, he doesn't normally hit me unless he's had a stressful day at work or when he's drunk, but he hit me in the stomach and then in the face, then shouted something like 'I you're not my son, I would never raise a faggot'. And with that he hit me in the nose and I blacked out.
