Sweetest Taboo (And Then I Met My Teacher)

He asked me to call him Gerard. I was in a house, sharing a dinner with my art teacher. That was so awkward. Even though he was really nice and cute, he was my teacher... My head was spinning. Calm down Sherrie, he's just your friend's brother. I took a deep breath, attempting to calm down a little.

''Sherrie, you okay?'', asked Mikey. ''Yes, sorry, I got lost in my thoughts'' ''Okay'', he laughed. Gerard called us from downstairs to let us know the pizza was there. Mikey got up and I did the same. Even if I didn't really want to hang out with my teacher, I was still hungry. We ran downstairs to get food. Gerard was already sitting on the living room, scrolling to his Netflix.

''What do you guys want to watch?'', he asked. You got to be kidding me, I thought to myself. We are going to stay with him? I hoped Mikey would tell him that he'd rather go back in his room and just listen to music, but instead he suggested the new episode of ''The walking dead''. ''Do you watch it Sherrie?'', Gerard asked. ''Oh hum, yes, I do'' ''You saw the latest episode?'', he asked. ''No, I was planning on watching it later tonight.'' ''Let's watch it now then'', he smiled. ''Sure''.

We started eating in silence. It wasn't an awkward silence, though. We were just enjoying the show together, no one was feeling the need to talk. It wasn't awkward until the show ended. Then it became very awkward. It looked like Gerard wasn't Gerard anymore. He went back to his Mr. Way attitude.

''Sherrie, does your mother know you're with Mikey?'', he asked seriously. ''No, why?'' ''She is probably worrying about you right now. You should go home'', he snapped. Mikey looked at him, shocked. ''What the fuck Gerard? She can stay if she wants to. She just has to call her mother'', he said almost furiously. ''I said she should go home Mikey'', he snapped back.
''It's alright Mikey, he's probably right. I should get going, it's getting late'', I said confused. ''Alright. I'll see you tomorrow?'', he asked. ''Yes, sure'', I answered. I grabbed my bag, my books and my coat and left, thanking both of them for the night.

Gerard's POV

I am so stupid, I thought to myself. I just send her home super rudely. ''What the fuck was that all about Gerard?'', asked my brother angrily. ''Look Mikey, I'm sorry about that. I don't know what happened to me...'' ''Well done! For once I had a friend, you had to ruin it all! Thank you, Gerard!'', he snapped and ran upstairs. I had fucked up... I was feeling so bad about Sherrie. I just couldn't stand feeling that way about one of my students. It was so wrong.

I looked at the clock. 10.30 PM. I decided to go to bed and try to forget about what just happened, hoping she would forget about that by tomorrow morning. I took off my clothes and went straight to bed.

I woke up the next morning still feeling bad because of the last night. I took a shower, got dressed and went straight to school. Not waiting for Mikey, nor having a breakfast. I wanted to get there early just in case Sherrie would show up earlier, so I could apologize for my behavior towards her.

I started walking towards my classroom when I saw a purple-haired girl waiting in front of the door. Sherrie.

''Hi Sherrie. What are you doing here so early?'' ''I was actually waiting for you... This might seem weird, but I wanted to ask you, do you have something against me?'', she asked. She looked sad and I was feeling like an asshole for making her feel that way. ''No, Sherrie I have nothing against you. If you're talking about last night, I am really sorry'' I said as nicely as possible.

''What the fuck Gerard!'', I heard someone say behind us.

I am so sorry that it took so long! I had to deal with personnal issues but I am back for good now. I'll update as often as possible (at least once a week). Hope you all enjoy this new chapter! Give me your opinions! xx
