Korse

"The wiring is all complete. You are all hooked up to the system now," said Michael, letting go of the last wire attached to Korse.

"Good," cackled Korse. "Do you mind switching on the converter?"

"Yes boss," said Michael, stepping over to a computer and pressing a few keys. "It's all set up. Whenever you're ready."

Korse grinned toothily. "Find Raymond and go to the basement. But before you do, I think I'm ready."

Michael nodded and pressed a key on the keyboard. A jolt of electricity shot through Korse, electrocuting him.

"Master-"

"I'm fine! Go to the basement!"

Michael nodded and ran down the hallways to Raymond.

"Boss has carried through with the transmission of his conscience to Ellie McCoy. His orders were to go the the basement."

"Any clarification?"

"Negative."

Raymond nodded at Michael and they made their way through the hallways and down to the basement.

Ghoul

It was too much. Ghoul sat there, staring at the one he loved, suffering. Not a second went by where she was screaming. Korse would invade her, her eyes would switch, then it would be back to crying once again. Ghoul couldn't take it.

"I'm going to kill him," he said between gritted teeth. "I'm going to slaughter him in front of every single person in this damned city. He is going to feel every ounce of blood drip from his body."

"Is that so?" Ghoul looked up at Shock. Her eyes had changed again. They were Korse's, dark and sinister.

"Damn straight," replied Ghoul.

"You can't. I am a part of Ellie now. Killing me will be like ripping out a part of her soul."

"DO IT!" Her eyes changed back for a split second. She was fighting Korse, and losing by the looks of it.

"Don't worry I-" Ghoul was cut off by the loud ring of a gun shot in the air. He felt a searing pain shoot up his leg. He grasped his bleeding thigh, screaming in agony.

"LUKE! PARTY! KILL HIM!"

But it was already too late. Kobra and Ray had tied up Luke and gagged Party. There was no way out of this. Maybe death was their true destiny. There was no point fighting back. Ghoul was unarmed and he was injured. They didn't have a chance.

"Shock," he said falling to the ground.

Ghoul heard a faint murmur come from the girl's mouth before he collapsed altogether, his world going black.
